I think it's interesting that there are both wings, which can symbolize freedom, and chains, which can symbolize imprisonment.

Artistically speaking, I love the design and the lighting. The little curly on the back of the headdress sort of confuses me though; is it hair or a halo? Or hair shaped to look like a halo?.... You can ignore my silly ramblings.

The picture has a good pose. That arm, both spread wide and chained, creates such a desire for sympathy from the audience.
