Once upon a time, there was a giant spider who had trouble sleeping. She was very upset and wondered if she'd ever have a good night's sleep. One day she was so worried she just couldn't bring herself to feed on what she caught in her web, and she had caught a lot. That night, a strange thing happened. She fell asleep right away, and slept all through the night. She woke up feeling better than ever before. She was so happy, but soon found herself worrying it may never happen again. Oh, how unfortunate would that be, she thought while feeding. While trying to think really hard about what was different about last night, she started dozing off again. She looked around and realized what was different. If she caught enough in her web, and fed slowly enough, the struggling of her prey would cause the web to sway, gently rocking her to sleep. She never had a sleepless night again.
