Commission for ~Jotara4zutara . Requested for a scene with the series I started "After School Chaos" about the "zutara" necklace.
Sorry it took so long! I hope you like it! *big-puppy-eyes*
- Haven't been on for almost 2 months.
- My internet provider has been BLOCKING my dA message center and notes inbox often at random and annoying times (F*CKING A!).
- I've been blowing up stuff in the chem lab (
).
- Piled up with research papers and presentations.
- Still have other commissions and presents.
- Gotta mail prizeart as well as this commission.
- Finals are around the corner.
- My puppy is 5 months old next week.
- Currently checking out Resident Evil 5. Scared as hell to play (
- Gonna go see Dragonball Evolution because I wanna laugh at everything they do.

I think that this is sweet as well as it is beautiful. You've really got a telent for drawing. I wished that I could draw and color something like this. Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about Photoshop and editing as I suck at technology.

I've watched 8 minutes of the Dragonball film and it's movie that you don't need to see all the way to figure out how it all turns out.
Think of it this way, it's a movie that you haven't seen yet...but you have seen it.
I see how Jesse McCartney could've gotten away with having a Japanese uncle in the Avatar film since Goku has a Japanese grandfather with absolutely no explanation as to why he doesn't look the slightest bit Asian.

Very nicely done and I do think your people are looking better! I mean it's definitely just the last 10% or so that wasn't there, but you're getting it. For the people... I'd make Katara's calf a little bigger myself, but that's just personal preference (I see her as being a little on the stronger side instead of slender). Zuko's neck is still a little long, it will look a little shorter because of the collar. Also his one cuff is sort of levitating which makes his arm look a little funny (you don't see the taper down to his wrist with the cuff up like that). I'd personally makes his hands look a little more masculine too, but again, that's just me. I feel like Katara's skirt looks a little awkward 'on top' of Zuko's outer leg. I know my school skirts kind of just went down without that angle out once they got over the butt. I'd personally put some lines to indicate Katara's finger on the hand we see the most of, but that's not a big deal. I'd give Zuko's form a bit more curve to it; your guys can sometimes look a little too straight up and down. I found a couple of screen caps to show what I mean.[link]

See how there are a few more curves to his form? That being said, they're both 90% there and look very good!
As for the background... It's nice, but not nearly as good. The blue halo looks a little funny because that blue isn't anywhere else in the picture. Try doing a few little chunks of sky peeking through the branches elsewhere - it will make it feel less artificial. If you like I can red line this a little to try to help with perspective. Also - watch your trees - they look like you went on autopilot just sort of did them as whatever you think a tree looks like. The good thing about them being background elements is that you can probably use photo ref from anywhere for these. They look funny in the trunk and beginning of the roots in particular, so that's where I recommend looking.
