I never though I would say this: I miss the sketch tagg!! Now I see that most of my latest deviations were requests...pretty much the only pics i did the past few months besides college asigments. So I have turned to contests for inspiration and fun!!In case nobody notice this is my take on Sailor Mars for the The Great Sailor Moon Redesign Contest! [link]
I had a lot of fun and if I have time I´ll try to do the rest of the sailors. Aww this really took me back, i really loved Sailor Moon way back when...

It really is quite beautiful... I love the textures you used, in this drawing, because it reminds me of the ancient Japanese paintings. You know, someone with your talent is rare to find, and I got a proposition for you. Me and a friend of mine, are looking right now for a colourist, and I think that your colouring style is just perfect for our works, because we 're starting a comic book of our own, and well, we have to find people to help us out with this project. Did you ever see the prototype video for the American remake of sailor moon? It had the intro with this awful music and the whole thing was just really unpleasant (including the design).
Anyways your design is kinda similar, but it's actually cool cause it has a western style, but you can still see Sailor Mars. I would have liked to see something like this instead

The design is pretty similar to original w the skirt and bows but without the finesse. Yep, definitely my design or most western like designs in this contest could have been so much better.
