'K, not so much Spidey Sketches, but more Venom-oriented, but whatever, it sounded cooler...I've been holding onto this for about a week or so now, what with me being obsessed with Spider-Man as of late... so I finally decided to slap some color on this and submit it. My favorite would have to be the very top one. >8D HUGZ PLZ!

I love Black Cat... She's one of my favorite female characters and I think her crush on Spidey is adorable!

Oh man, I KNOW! I think Topher did try, he just couldn't hit the nail on the head with this one. I mean, I can see him as Eddie now (albeit a rather skinny Eddie), and he did put on 25 lbs of muscle for the part, but what really ticked me off was the fact that VENOM was puny. VENOM IS A BEAST! They could have at least used cg or something for when he's in the suit.
Ugh, I blame the director.

lol, I doubt I can draw Venom without Spider-man in it. I mean, this ORIGINALLY started out as practice for drawing Venom, but then I drew in Spiderman down at the bottom and it all went downhill from there. xDDD

From what I've been told, there's gonna be SIX. Even as a Spidey-fangirl I think that's overkill, but the Venom movie is supposed to be a spin-off of the actual Spiderman movies, so altogether there may be, like seven or eight. I dunno.
I have no idea how they're gonna be doing 'em, but I'm honestly just hoping Venom gets the attention he deserves 'cuz Spiderman 3 was CRAP.
I have no idea what character he played in the show, but his name is Topher Grace. He was a fan of Venom as a kid, too, and even worked out and gained 25lbs of muscle for the part, but he was just too small for a good Venom and the acting didn't quite fit in my opinion.
Ugh... sorry for the rant. I chew off anybody's ear who mentions this.... sorry.... I'm just a big Venom-fan... Glad you like 'em though! XDDD

OH MY GOD I KNOW!!! Seriously, I love Spiderman. He's my favorite superhero. But even I think that's too many movies! >.<
I was actually really excited at first to hear Venom was gonna be in 3, but then I think they tried to stuff too many villains in an already full movie. That, and the director didn't want to put Venom in in the first place, so that kinda doomed the film before it was even shot.
I actually haven't seen much in the way of Grace's other gigs, but I'll admit, he's pretty good lookin'. I just don't want him in the next Venom movie. D:< NEW DIRECTOR AND ACTOR PLZ!!!!

I like a pretty guy as much as the next fangirl, but not when it fucks with my favorite childhood villain. I was actually impressed with Thomas Haden Church's performance, but I think they stuffed too many villains in one film and it affected everyone.
I mean, even Topher Grace was a fan of Venom as a kid and gained at least 25 pounds of muscle for the part, but really, Eddie Brock was a weight lifter and after find the symbiote, he became the total BEAST that is Venom.
Also, his entire character and placement felt rushed. The studio and fans were pushing for him but the director didn't want to put Venom in it and if the director's heart into it, it's pretty much ready to go down the drain before they film it. Out of all the characters in that movie, I felt like Venom got the short end of this stick--especially seeing as he was the first truly evil villain of the movies.
I'm SERIOUSLY hoping that they'll give Venom the attention and credit he deserves in his upcoming film.

Actually, Black Cat is actually just a cat bugler with gadgets, but that would be pretty cool if they introduced her in the movie. Like in the comics when Carnage is created and then Black Cat and Spidey team up to defeat Carnage and Venom and find Toxin and good lord I'm such a comic greek. >///>

Well, she wasn't ENTIRELY useless in Web of Shadows. Girl's in a frakin' CAST and using a fucking SHOTGUN like she actually knows what she's doing. However, when you fight Symbiote Black Cat, she shows up just to get in the way for no real reason other than to have you try and defeat Black Cat while protecting her from other Symbiotes. That, and she HAS a shot gun then but barely uses it to defend herself! WTF?!??! WHY?!??!

Honestly, I like the challenge it presents. It's fun. But it is annoying when it could just be done and over with. It didn't help that I couldn't use the black suit when fighting her because she's use this screeching thing, so it was a bit harder because I relied on the suit so much. XP
