I've been wanting to photography the Red Squirrels on Brownsea Island in Dorset for many years. However the number of people who have informed me they have been on several trips there and not seen a single squirrel really discouraged me for paying out to take the trip. Recently a fellow photographer visited and came back with some shots so I decided to head on over and I wasn't disappointed.Here, a Red Squirrel deals with an itch on Brownsea Island, Dorset, UK

wow I thought there are none red squirrels in the UK, only grey since they dimnished red population almost to 0, great shot!Β

there are only three places - Brownsea Island, the Isle of Wight and in Scotland.
Theres a VERY heavy fine and possible prison charge for taking a grey squirrel over to brownsea or the isle of wight lol.

Government would just cull them again, (the main reason they're no longer here). The pox virus carried by greys, altough fatal to reds, is mostly just a smoke screen I think lol.

Yes. But iam glad, in deviantart are many diferent people.
In photography only plattforms, there is this "my art is the best and everything besides that is ugly" mentality, what i dont see on Deviantart.
