I've been working on this one for about a week... not sure if I'm done yet, but close! And yes... inspired by the snow-capped peaks and golden splashes of aspens out my own windows. Just don't ask me what that little flower is doing all the way up there...
Geek stuff: Terragen 2 and xFrog, tweaked for saturation/contrast and signature in CS2.
