Knowing the weather up here as well as I do, it wasn't hard to come up with the conception for this photo, but it took months to find the right spot, the right conditions, and the right equipment to actually take it. No, it's not PhotoShopped--beyond a frame and signature, this is literally what I was looking at.

That is such an amazing concept. I've seen it do that here quite a bit but never thought to take a mirror out to capture it. Such a great photo.

ok, you need to stop. i don't want your message center to be filled with M's saying buttonater has added blah blah to their faves a gazillion times or else it will stop meaning anything. but i can't resist. this is just to perfect. it's like everything you see around you, your reality, is just a little skewed, and not quite perfect. but then you come across a portal into a world of light and happiness and prefection where everything you lay your eyes on is heaven. even amidst the darkness there is light.
