Description: One of the stranger animals to live on the "Misfit Continent", this large reptile is sometimes called the "gorilla drake". It does show some properties that show that it is related to the common drake, but there are no fossils of drakes on Ozeedus. This is an extremely enigmatic animal and only seen a handful of times. From what we have observed, they hunt alone by sneaking close to prey, which can be ground dragons, ground birds, dinosaurs, and mammals, and then attacking them with their huge clawed hands. In the dry seasons, adults hunt juveniles and even vice versa depending on the situation. They have a large skin made frill around the neck to ward off rivals and potentially larger predators. The sail on its back to both regulate its body temperature and help attract a mate. The female will lay a clutch of 2-5 eggs and in a matter of a few months the young will hatch and leave to live solo lives in which they are completely independent. The young will live in the trees where they hunt small bugs, reptiles, and birds. The average life expectancy for these creatures are about 50 years but recently a 65 year old specimen was found dead and helped boost our understanding of this mysterious creature.
