Okay, so hear me out.

I was watching TLK the other day with my youngest brother, Ashton. I haven't seen the movie in years. And now I notice that Simba as a cub doesn't match the colors he shows as an adult. As a cub, he has more of his mothers colors, with the lighter pelt color, brown tail fur (mane fur as well), and orange eyes. But then, when he gets older, he magically looks nearly identical to his father with NO features of his mother, Sarabi. Even the dark ear rim that Sarabi has, who Simba as a cub has, magically disappears.

If someone can explain this to me or give me anything that can justify the magical color changing lion, please let me know. Because it is irritating. And I know it shouldn't matter this much, it is just a movie. But still.

So, based on Simba's colors as a cub, the left picture is what he should've looked like as an adult. His father's body style, but his mothers colors.

Original post showed only the lions, but the white, empty space always annoys me so I found a background.
