Continuing portrait experimentation done on the iPad in Paintbook. The portrait is mostly done in black of varying transparencies. All the color is superimposed on the black and white value drawing.

I think the dA community is really lucky to have such generous people who create quality stock art. I find some of the stocker's collections to be invaluable anatomical resources which allow me to focus on the design aspects of drawing that I really enjoy.
