Description "Hey, Edward's back."
"Well, well, well. Look who decided to crawl back home. Did you enjoy your little 'day out', Edward?"
"Why, yes I did, Gordon. Thank you for asking."
"Well, don't get use to it. Driver only let you out today because he felt sorry for you."
"Oh, is that right? Because driver just told me that I did so well, that he's taking me out again tomorrow. So, what do you think of that, hmmm?"
"WHAT? I... I..."
*Chuckling*
'But Edward never did hear what Gordon had to say that night for he was so tired and happy, that he fell at once'.

A little bit of Sudrian history, at least visually in my RWS AU. Inspired by the scene the recent episode of Sodor's Finest about Edward the Blue Engine, I wanted to try and do my own take on the moment which was based on the last part of the first ever story of The Railway Series, "Edward's Day Out". Of course, we have No. 98462 (before he became Alfred shortly after returned to East Anglia in 1925) at the shed with Highland Railway (HR) Castle class 4-6-0 No. 26 'Braham Castle' as one of the loaned engines to the North Western Railway (NWR) during this time. If anyone wonders why No. 1 "Thomas" is not in the shed with them, the background only had four of its five tracks into a shed and the shed is really Tidmouth. It's because I couldn't find one of RWS Vicarstown shed so I had to resort to using Tidmouth in the 1920s as a stand-in.

Sprite sheet of NWR No. 2 "Edward" coming in the future.
