Before you ask, 725 metres long -- give or take.

And the dual habitat rings are on tracks at the end of the pylons and they're the only parts of the ship -- outside of a big ass flywheel -- that rotates.

Inside the track housing carries maglev cars on a separate track to the rings that allows the crew to transfer from the rotation section to the zero-G section without having to stop the rings' rotation. Basically when someone is in the zero-G section, the maglev car is docked inside the pylon like a travel pod from Star Trek. The car then accelerates to match rotation speed with the habitat ring so it can dock with the ring, and allow the personnel to transfer into the habitat section.

And then vice versa. The crew goes into the car, it undocks, decelerates, and docks with the pylons.

Only the car holds onto the bus and Keanu Reeves doesn't have to do a very risky jump -- and yes, he apparently did the stunt himself, but we can double check later.

I first thought about a scene from MacGyver (1985) where MacGyver missed his train, he jumped into a taxi to chase the train where he boarded the train while the train was still in motion.

I figure they use something like that for an Omega class destroyer on Babylon 5, as well as an Explorer class from the same show.

More details coming forth once I get material painted onto it, and converted them into meshes for all to use.
