I'll be honest, I want to live in a Star Trek world where:

- most of our food comes from aeroponics and cellular farming

- building materials are from hemp and desert sand concrete

- renewable energy sources like solar, wind, hydroelectric and nuclear

Where we don't need to worry about:

- persecution over race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or identity

- rich pays their fair share

You know, the dreaded wokism.

But even with all of that, one thing I will have to admit is that space travel will probably not be like Star Trek. Faster than light travel, yes. But not massive fleets with particle weapons, routine civilian ships with FTL drives, and so forth.

In all honesty, it will probably be more like the Alien franchise, or like Interstellar.

The warp drive on this ship is based off of the Sports Model, the UFO that Bob Lazar claimed to have examined at Area 51.

Three gravity wave engines that targets a single point in front of the ship, and the warp field moves to the antenna on the back of the ship to form a heart shaped warp field. It's on the documentary, Bob Lazar: Flying Saucers and Area 51 (2018) on how it works.

The new ship has the fuel in the aft engineering module and the front of the sublight engines in the form of liquid deuterium and helium-3 -- though being in a metallic state would be interesting. So without the need for added fuel tanks, then the ship is smaller, and therefore lighter. It doesn't have the radiators, but I wouldn't be surprised if they developed thermal "diodes" where heat only transfers away from the source to let it stay cool -- perhaps in nearly freezing point for helium-3.
