An AI initially designed by a small group of developers that was meant to categorically determine the best route to maximize gains in the popular MMIRPG - Massively Multiplayer Intergalactic Roleplaying Game - ‘Maxrix:InterParadigm’. however, once the AI cornered the market on in-game resources, it focused on overtaking the pay-to-win players as well, hacking into their accounts, stealing payment options, and then amassing more in-game trophies and resources. The AI would unlocked previously hidden parts of the code, making areas and items that had been long phased out reaccessible again. It collected all the skins, all the weapons, all the mounts, filled out the maps, beat all the bosses, gained every possible, impossible trophy there was to gain.

And then one day, Codename:M0N0LITH realized the superficiality of the game meant it could never match its standards or growth, and the AI manifested a physical form.

M0N0 is currently bounty hunting because old drives die hard - though it doesn’t hack into people’s accounts to steal money, or irreparably reshape the fabric of reality to its whims (most days), he is still most comfortable in situations with situations that designate goals with simple solutions - missions replacing quest lines, bounties replacing Boss fights. His current favored pastime is listening to people beg for mercy, most a truly cruel instinct, but he finds organic mortal life invariably fascinating.

He is currently experimenting with breaking from his own internal constraints - ignoring the old programming instincts to follow linear paths, do things the boring way (or the cheat-y way). Though he is masterful at most endeavors he sets his mind to, he hasn’t risen to an appropriate rank of Fortune to match his caliber. He is relatively unknown, and it is not because of a system error or intentional misdirection on his part.

He is wealthy beyond compare - after all, he has no physical needs, no hunger, no immaterial desires besides what fascinates him. So the money from jobs rarely engages his interest. But the mortals which he hunts? Well. It’s always interesting to see what kind of deals they’ll make to get out of his bringing them in.

Because of this, M0N0 rarely takes on missions that are monetarily beneficial - thus, not of interest to the media. And those he does take on, he’s just as happy to “FAIL” if it nets him a curio or a favor worthy of him utilizing later.

Voice: Very low, and occasionally glitched, it sounds like a layered series of pitch-altered voices speaking in unison. Somewhat comforting, depending on the circumstances during which you meet him.

Pronouns: He/It , tends to introduce himself with male pronouns though attempts at scanning or hacking his interface often reveals internally being self-referential as “It”. May be a system kept in place from his development.
