Here are some sketches I collected of three "early game" NPCs I'm working on!
I’m still working on their clothes/details, but will release complete sketches and models (I guess?) soon…
See? I'm actually working on the region/story, not just the Fakemon. I'm just terribly slow at it...

I have some "beta" names, but for now, they'll remain unnamed...
Pink-haired girl and hoodie-kid are "your" friends, couple years older than the main character (yes, the small kid is just... smol).
The long-haired lady is the Professor of the Region, and actually plays a central role in the story.

-PHG (Pink-Haired Girl) is a sporty, energetic girl, which takes on the role of the friendly rival. She's very competitive, though, and has a hard time accepting defeat...
Her main partner is a Dunball and will also take one of the three starters.

-HK is a silent, short boy with a (rather obvious) crush on PHG. He's her best friend, and follows and supports her everywhere.
Unlike PHG, he's very friendly and actually acts more like a "guide" to his kouhai (後輩) than a rival.
His main partner is a Kowamago, as probably hinted by the Egg Hoodie...

-The Prof is actually an historian/archeologist, mostly. Used to be a great explorer and archeologist, in a very Lara Croft-ish way, but is currently retired and runs a Lab that researches how Pokémon/Fakemon have evolved and adapted to Rhòme through history.
She is the very first Gym Leader of the Region too. Budding trainers that defeat her, gain the Trainer Badge and can set off for adventure and travel through Rhòme to collect the other badges.
Her partner is a Vincopter, but will go quite easy on young trainers, and won’t really use it during the Gym Battle… Anyways, I’ll talk about Gyms and other stuff in another post.
