So I am making these guys into an open species
Feel free to make one if you want! there are no strict color rules but they are usually like tropical birds or amphibians. Haha have fun I guess. If you want these lines just note me.

This was a lot of fun to design! It's fat little butt can walk on water with artistic magic.
Anyways I sort of imagined Water Forest having a lot of rivers but hey these could be pretty cool even if they had a limited habitat.

Greater Stream Runners are quite unique in the fact that they can run on water. Their large hand like wings allow them to stand on the surface. These hands also have the added benefit of attracting fish as they look quite similar to lily pads when seen from underneath. They hunt much like a kingfisher waiting for the opportune moment to dive and catch their prey.

Although the are capable of maneuvering outside of the water they prefer to remain near their rivers as they can quickly escape predators by running up or down stream. For this reason they make canopy like nests over the water as it allows them to escape fast.

Stream Runners cannot carry much additional weight outside of a rider if they wish to remain above the surface. However their unique abilities make them quite handy in maneuvering through the jungle.
