Description
Marvin, the Paranoid Android from Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the galaxy. Drawn in my stylee wirth a heap-load of artistic liscense.Mostly a mix of the Marvin from the illustrated Hitch Hiker's Guide (With SHINY!!! Cover) and Evangelion (Look at the face! LOOK AT IT! DON'T LOOK AT IT!!!).
Expect a few more Hitch Hiker's Guide characters to turn up soon - probably Zaphod, Roosta, Trillian and Eccentrica Gallumbitz, the triple-breasted whore of Eroticon 6.
Yes.
Fnarrrr.

That's so perfectly Marvin all over.
Douglas Adams never had a real idea as to what he should look like, he said all he ever set in his mind was being tall, humanoid, and extremely " expensive-looking".

WHAT!?!? You poor, depraved child! Or is it deprived? Everyone's heard of these books at some point or another.
The five-part Hitchhiker's trilogy is the epitome of sci-fi satire, arguable the epitome of ANY satire. It begins with the demolishon of earth to make way for a bypass and then it just starts RAMBLING. The late Douglas Adams has this great writing style where he just goes off on a series of disjointed and surreal tangents pretty much every other paragraph, and there's hardly a single sentence that doesn't have a sarcastic punchline.
My favorite aspect is how the universe is just more of the same bull we have on earth...a confusing, chaotic mess of morons, lunatics, petty conflicts and nonsensical culture but on an infinite scale.
