When Peter Logan was young, he was taken to Africa with his Aunt and Uncle. While there he was bitten by a bizarre spider. An attempted treatment gave him incredible power. But while he recovered his aunt and uncle died in an accident. Blaming himself for not saving them, Peter became a hero: Spider-Beast.

Powers: Agility, sticks to walls, can transform into an eight foot spider monster, has green skin (that's not a power I just thought I should mention that)
