Yup. Dawn Allan. She's a speedster, but she sticks to Central City while her brother goes out with the League.

Do they get along? Like have fun brother sister competition to see who’s faster? And giving each other relationship advice?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Yup,they have competition witj each other. Howerver, since they are twins, they have a power connection bond; when making physical contact to each other, they have a speed boost.

Sure. Donnie actually vouched for Terry to be leader, because Kairos is 'a hardass.'

You know I like the fact that you added the Mas y Menos like connection the two Allen twins have. It seemed like a cool power in the Teen titans show and plus they aren't helpless if you split them upΒ

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-02 02:41:43 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah. That's exactly where I got the idea of these two getting a power up from physical contact. That's something, b/c I was never a big fan of Teen Titans show.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-03 01:32:12 +0000 UTC]

I can understand that, of all the DC cartoon it seemed like the least comic accurate one. I still enjoyed it though but I'll admit the humor felt a little forced sometimes.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-04 02:19:52 +0000 UTC]

Exactly, it was the forced humor with anime.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-05 01:33:25 +0000 UTC]

True you know funny thing is that's one of the reason people hate teen titans go, I mean the main complains was that the humor was forcedΒ and the characters were OOC

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-06 02:45:22 +0000 UTC]

Or that it wasn't serious. The fact that TTG actually made an episode making fun of how people were saying the show wasn't serious has me give a tad bit of respect to the show.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-07 02:51:40 +0000 UTC]

yeah i remember that, plus they did take a jab at the people who thought the show cancelled young justice. I mean I like young justice way more than I like TTG but the reason it was cancelled was because toy sales were bad.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-08 03:12:17 +0000 UTC]

Ah, yes, the toy sales. Took me a while to actually watch Young Justice, and it is an amazing show. And fortunately, it's already coming back.

Which is kind of funny, shows that I watch late after it stops airing, sometime later, I hear that it's either coming back or a new series connected to it is coming soon.
Avatar the Last Airbender- after finishing the entire series, I hear from a friend of mine that a show of the next Avatar, Korra, is coming.
Samurai Jack- getting back to watching it, last year we finally hear the news of it coming back.
Now Young Justice

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-09 02:17:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I love young justice, it's a nice new take on the characters and it's a whole lot of fun. I'm pumped for the next season.

Oh and there is something you should look up, a series called young justice abridged by DCAbridgedUniverse. They even do parodies of the DC animated movies and they take it way beyond a typical abridged series.

There are some big changes like Superboy being russian, Superman being a bit of an asshole, Alfred being way more terrifying etc. But it's still pretty good and as far as I know it's one of the few series which have 3 different robins being active at the same time (Dick, Tim and Damien)Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-10 00:15:57 +0000 UTC]

Ah yes, I've seen that series around. I just haven't gone around to watching it.
What about Jason Todd Robin?

Though I have been catching up with Linkara. This guy brings up some good points for some books I have read before.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-11 02:55:40 +0000 UTC]

Oh there was a whole arc about Jason Todd and honestly it was handled really well. I don't want to spoil things too much but it's really good.

Oh and I've heard of Linkara, I've been meaning to watch him but honestly I've been catching up with some recent anime, like Nanbaka and Gabriel dropoutΒ

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-12 07:04:38 +0000 UTC]

Ah sweet.

Haven't heard of that anime. Though, I have caught up with a bit with a mainstream one. Attack on Titan.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-13 01:00:57 +0000 UTC]

Oh nice, I've been meaning to watch that, but never had the time. I have watched one punch man though, and I have to say it lives up to the hype.

Oh and did you see the season opener for samurai jack? I did and I loved it, it was badass.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-14 02:15:06 +0000 UTC]

I bet. I loved that TFS had avoided the fight between Saitama and Cell.

Yeah, it certainly sets the somber setting that this new season of Samurai Jack will have.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-15 02:14:17 +0000 UTC]

Same here let's be honest the alternative was a flame war in the comments, but unfortunately that happened anyway.

Yeah I still can't believe he lost his sword, I wonder how he gets it back.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-16 01:21:50 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah. But they're mostly just heated debates, not hating on TFS for their decision.

At least it wasn't anything about Jack becoming unworthy to hold the sword because of something he did.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-17 01:09:18 +0000 UTC]

that's true but let's be honest Saitama isn't meant for debates, he's a gag character and his stick is he does in one episode what other characters would do in 20. I mean let's face it in any other series the enemies he faced would have had long drawn out arcs.Β

Yeah I was worried about that, well at least now we have hope that he finds his sword. Odds are it could be like the comics where he get's it reforged using his own power instead of his dads.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-18 03:49:07 +0000 UTC]

Absolutely true. In fact, what I call Saitama, a big fish in a lake full of small fish. That's what a lot of people said about Doctor Manhattan, he seemed very powerful but faced no other superhumans in his world. That was until DC: Rebirth made him out to be among the most powerful beings in the DC multiverse.

Oh yeah, I heard that his sword actually was broken before, but got reforged. But let's see what happens.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-19 00:57:23 +0000 UTC]

Yeah honestly when you don't have an equal to fight it's really hard to gauge how strong you are. I mean even Boros who was his strongest foe was taken out by a shock wave of his serious punch. Also didn't know Dr manhattan was that strong,I might have to look into that.

Yeah with the new episode today I wonder how things will turn out, especially with those Aku cult girls after him.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-20 01:55:46 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it's a surprise. Manhattan used his iconic combustion attack on an already powerful woman, Pandora, like she was nothing.

The daughters of Aku. I saw clips of Aku's new voice actor. I knew they would get the guy who voiced Iroh when Mako passed away.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-21 00:30:16 +0000 UTC]

Wait seriously? Alright now I have to look into him, is there any one in the DC universe who can beat him?

Yeah same here, Aku put some much needed humor in to the episode because it was really dark. I mean that fact that Jack was contemplating suicide for god knows how long was a real gut punch. They were not kidding when they said the season was going to be darker.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-21 23:58:13 +0000 UTC]

In all honesty, nobody has beaten him. At least, we haven't seen anyone do such. The only known weaknesses I know Manhattan has is that he's unable to see the future if there is a massive burst of tachyons, and his number one weakness; he's extremely out of touch with humanity, therefore Manhattan is not likely to get involved in any event. At least, until now. We're going to see what's Manhattan's objective is now.

Oh yeah. It definitely was intense when Jack's conscience is trying to convince him to just join his ancestors.

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-22 23:30:09 +0000 UTC]

Huh well i wonder what it is, and any way I just bought a copy of the watchmen motion comic and I can't wait to see if it's good, I mean DCs animated series have never failed to entertain me.

And now we get to see him take on the rest of the sisters. I wonder if he'll take the rest of them out or if a few will survive to hunt him down later.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-23 23:47:46 +0000 UTC]

One of the greatest graphic novels ever published by the great, but eccentric, author, Alan Moore. The movie also does it justice.

Most likely that one sister they had addressed by name, forgot what her name is, will be the last one standing to clash against Jack.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-25 00:58:50 +0000 UTC]

True, I have a feeling she will be the last one to fight him. But to be honest I think their only edge on him was surprise and numbers. So now with Jack playing the offensive and taking them out one by one, It's just going to be easier for him to take them outΒ

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NextGenerator In reply to darkvslight346 [2017-03-25 23:50:53 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah. That and they had an unspecified time of training since birth, just like Jack.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

darkvslight346 In reply to NextGenerator [2017-03-26 23:30:24 +0000 UTC]

Well after watching the episode I have to say jack handled it pretty well. Damn we're already 30% done with the seasonΒ
