Wow. First time I thought, "Okay it's a regular nexumorphic piece with blank faces and cool colors". But I looked twice and realized that this has very dark connotations. Amazing message really.

Now that is tricky.
From my understanding alone, I believe that freedom is actually more of a feeling rather than a state of being.
The feeling of being unrestrained by any source unwillingly is almost like a sense of bliss. To be able to act on your own will without negative consequence. So I think it's really when you are at a point when you don't need to pick a lesser of two evils. When one's choice has a great impact without bringing ill upon yourself or others.
I guess that's what I define freedom as.
