This is my first work submitted to deviantart. It's also the first picture I've ever attempted to colour in photoshop, though I've been working with the program for several years now. I learned a lot from this piece, so expect improvement pretty soon.

I've received some very helpful tips about my artwork so far. I'm suddenly realizing what a great idea it was to join in the first place. I've taken some of the advice already. Considering the perspective and whatnot, everything should look a little more right now.

In case it wasn't completely obvious, this is supposed to be Lina Inverse from Slayers (drawn in my own style, of course). Slayers has always been one of my favourites... mostly because it doesn't take itself too seriously.
