I watched the speedpaint and loved it! Ironically, Springtrap is my favorite animatronic and this look is awesome for him! I have my own OC based on him, though after getting better at drawing I'm gonna have to redesign him.
I've been working on different drawing techniques, and was curious how you make the characters dark then almost erase some dark areas to make lighter shading in some places. mainly on the faces and parts of the body.

I actually fill the whole character with a really dark colour then lower the opacity~!

That did help out quite a bit, I tried the technique out on one of my Transformers characters, and it made him look more metallic. It saves a lot of time in shading in dark areas, all I really need is to fill in the light areas and it looks great. It's especially nice when using the smudge tool too. I've been using black as the dark color then lowering the opacity.
I find speedpaints quite interesting to watch, keep up the awesome work X3
