Here's a panel I did to show around at the comic-con at New York, hoping to achieve some interest from DC. This one is a double splash page of Adam Strange.The answer was "good, but my style was too european..."
That was 2007, now it seems european style is just fine. I'm never at the right place at the right time, AAAAARRRGGGGHH!

Too European, Too american, maybe you are an author, and that is greater than a marketing success, think about Frank Quitely, he was rejected a few times for the same, and now, with his european storytelling is an admired author.

I don't know what to say, when i showed DC these 2 panels and all my other stuff all they told me was: "nice, but......ummmmmmm.....too european:" Here in Italy i keep getting the opposite answers, "too american". AAAAARGGGGHHH! I'm al mixed up, anyways thanx a lot for the comment!

I really don't know. There wern't many editors watching but it seemed that the few who saw it seemed interested in some of my artwork. I guess know that it's just a matter of mailing all around hoping they remember some of the things I showed.
