Hi there, thank you for dropping by. It's actually a special type of banana which is kinda popular in Vietnam (and also some parts of Asia) that tastes extremely good when cooked (especially roasted). There are some dessert recipes in Vietnam using this type of banana cooked in the same technique.

Such a gorgeous compliment! I have just started taking food photos for about 1 year, there are so many things to learn but I'm glad cause at least, some of my works until now are considered 'nice' and I'm glad that you guys like them. You made my day, thank you Queen-Kitty !  
P/S: I could watch the dough rising; the cakes rising, forming and layering in the stove for all day! What a sweet experience!
