I'm not into feminism and stuff, but i really liked the idea of a somewhat more muscular nightelf female.
I liked the more fierce model and i so damn hope they keep the idea....

when i saw, that they "scrapped most of it and went back to the drawing board", i felt like dying inside, for i know, we, again, will get some super sexy super thin puppet thing with big manga eyes and lips like angelina jolie...for sure.
And i hate it.
So I came up with this pic, with the text and stuff...to show, that the fierce model fits the nightelf perfectly.
we dont need no walking rubberdolls.

If you haven't already you should check out the new artcraft for the night elf model and your work matches it pretty close. Kudos and agreed with what he nelf ladies should look like.

alerady seen the artcraft and yeah, the new bodies are absolutely amazing, the texture and the muscles, i absolutely love it. but the face is really not blizzard's work.
I'd prefer the new artcrafts' body and the face of this one: www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1β¦ it looks less cute, more fierce.

Well they'll probably make her look all soft and whatever due to popular opinion. But it'd be nice if they found a balance between the two, feminine in stature but still visible muscle tone.

A good idea would be to have different physiques according to class, i.e, warriors, paladins and death knights would be the most built up and strong since they're the ones wearing the heaviest armour and using melee. Then you'd have shamans, hunters, rouges and monks be a bit leaner but still have quite an athletic physique. And casters being the smallest since they don't use melee that often and wear cloth.Β

I'm pretty sure most guys, and by which I mean the vast majority of the players, don't want to fap to will be turned off by big muscle mary-looking females in-game. Why do you think there are so few many female orcs? I'm sorry but it's just truth in gaming. Good effort though.

I don't even know if I should be commenting on this, I did read the whole discussion thing on mmo-champion. I'm not entirely opposed to muscles on female night elves, I think they should find a balance between warrior women amazons, but keep in mind, night elves are also the most graceful and agile race. Β I'll admit I'm very much still living in WC3 era, which modern Blizzard has pretty much taken a shit all over, and in WC3, the NE women were warriors, but they employed the hit-and-run variety of military tactics, which ties in with their agility and overall "stealthiness" (I know that's not a word but it serves my point).Β Which I don't think the image of a musclebound amazon captures very much. I'll say what some people said in that discussion, if you want to play a muscle woman, play an orc, keep night elves looking like elves.

To be fair, the current so-far redone models are looking really great; the female dwarf, human and orc look badass, so I have high hopes for their night elves looking alright too.Β
Β Of course, I could be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me. Blizzard are very often notorious for being bandits.

Yeah, I agree with you. The Kaldorei woman aren't pretty little things who sit there and do nothing all day. They're fierce fighters and leaders of their race. Blizz do feminise most of the female gender of the races too much
