Oh... my... Tallest.

It's done.

This is my first piece of "digital" anything. I've never done anything like it. And I am unimaginably, irrationally proud of it.

The picture was sketched traditionally ([link] ), then line art and color were done digitally. The background was done entirely digitally ().

Seriously, I thought I might never finish it.

For a while, I kept a meticulous time log of how much I worked on this. ... And then I lost count. From what I can gather, it took about 7-8 hours all told.

... I listened to dubstep the entire time.

I used heavy reference for the ships, because I fail at drawing ships and I fail at drawing on the computer. Therefore, how do you think I fair drawing ships on the computer?

Check out Tallest Red's hellfire eyes. I love coloring Irken eyes...

And the wires. Those glorious, glow-y wires took forever. And were worth it.
