Poor girl can't help it. Being blind she needs to use her imagination to "see" things.

Lotus had just woken from a short nap. She exited the Apprentice dens and sketched each limb out in session with a soft sigh. She went to sit down and Smooth her long silky fur. It tended to knot up sometimes due to its length. As she did a scent hit her nose. Her sense of smell was much different then other felines. Stronger but also with some weird downside some things she could not smell at all or smells seemed off and switched.
This scent was different in many ways. One because it did not smell like anyone else in the camp and two it was definitely one of the new members of Stone. She perked her head up and let her nose lead her to the smell.
When she caught a stronger bit of it she got up and Began to follow it. Maybe she should introduce herself! She loves meeting new cats.

Ezrael quickly snapped the rabbit's back, sitting up with a satisfied grin. Happy with the plump prey he had collected, Ezrael headed back to camp. Two squirrels dangled from his jaws, the rabbit slung over his back.

As he entered camp, Ezra recoiled for a moment, still not used to the scents of so many cats. His long tail flicking in irritation, he plodded to the kill pile, depositing his prey. His rumbling stomach made him grab the rabbit, laying down near the gladiator den and digging into his food.

Along with the new scent Lotus caught the gross scent of small prey which ment she was close to the prey pile. Unlucky for her prey smelled awful specifically certain animals and eating was a challenge for her. Someone must have had a mouse or a squirrel because that was one of the ones that put off an odd smell to her. She wrinkled her nose. But the rabbit scent was softer and more pleasant smelling.

As she approached the scent grew very strong and he down belly growled. She stopped a little ways back from him closer then most would have stood walking up to someone seeing as she wasn't good with distancing herself yet. "Hello" she said looking straight forward with her blind eyes. She could see the light and mixed shades of grey and black where he might be blocking the light source but that was all. She was only able to preseive light

Signature scowl on his face, Ezra took quick bites of his food. Glaring around at some nearby cats, he clutched the rabbit closer. Get your own food! He wanted to hiss, but he held back, hoping his icy glare would keep them away.

He took another bite, pausing mid-chew as he saw a cat approaching him. He narrowed his eyes in warning as she stopped much closer than he would've liked. "Hi," he growled, sitting up and watching the girl cautiously. What did she want?

Lotus Lowered her ears a bit as the Tom's voice sounded harsh and was laced with a growl. She could not see his expression. But his tone alone told her he was definitely frowning/scowling at her right now.

The scent of the rabbit hit her nose hard. She scrunched it up and it wrinkled her cheeks a bit "my appologies. I did not mean to disturb your meal. " She tried to stay friendly "I happened to scent you and noticed your one of our newcomers. " She smiled now as she spoke taking a step back to sit down on her haunches. "My name is lotus, mind if I join you? I can wait u til your done eating I don't mind" She asked tilting her head offering to sit with him and chat despite his current mood.

Ezrael raised a eyebrow at the female's scrunched face, like she'd smelled something gross. "Not a fan of rabbit?" He grunted.

Scent me?
Ezra furrowed his eyebrows, tilting his head as he observed the younger cat. What does that mean? His curiosity growing, he decided to voice his question, "what do you mean you scented me?"

Her bright smile made his annoyance fade slightly, though he kept his scowl on his face as he slowly went back to eating, sending glares towards Lotus every few moments so that she knew he wasn't happy with her company. After a few bites, he decided to attempt at being nice for now and tell her his name, "I'm Ezrael," he mumbled, taking another bite.

The silky furred feline shook her head at his first statement. "Oh no it's more of.. well.. my nose isn't what it should be is all " she smiled kinda shy. She didn't like talking about her disabilities much. She always felt weak because of them . However she perked up a bit when he asked what she ment. "I scented you. My nose is kinda.. well broken but I can still tell scents apart. I can tell by your scent your new and haven't gained stones scent yet. " she said kinda proud of herself. She knew she might smell different but she was learning how to tell things apart and scent the differences either good or bad. Long as someone told her what she was smelling she'd memorize the scent .

Unlucky for ez lotus couldn't see his scowls but she could hear his distaste in his voice. She simply ignored it. Maybe he was just still getting used to the empire that's all! Right?
She smiled bigger when he introduced himself. "Ezrael. That's a nice name. Mind if I call you Ez?" She asks softly . Some felines didn't like nicknames .

Ezra narrowed his eyes, "you're weird," he said bluntly. He didn't realize how rude he sounded until after he'd said it. If he would've known that she was blind, he would've, probably been a bit nicer. But hearing that the girl had smelled him? It was a bit strange sounding to him.

Scowling at himself, he went back to eating, feeling slightly guilty, but too proud to apologize to the female. Slightly surprised when she complimented his name, he looked up, startled blue eyes wide. He composed himself quickly, clearing his throat, "thanks." Ez? "Uh- I guess, I usually go by Ezra," he shrugged.

Lotus blinked a few times when he called her weird. Hmph... Rude .. she shook it off though. "It's not very nice to call felines weird ya know." She said but she held a sweet smile. She could tell this cat didn't really wanna be bothered but she was persistent and she was curious more then anything.

"Awesome. Then you will be Ez to me. Only I get to call you that" she smiled not having noticed him look up at her when she had complimented his name. She scooted closer with interest. "So Ez . Are you from the city?" She asked trying to be polite but kind hard when she was disturbing his meal.

Ezra felt an urge to growl at the female rising, but a quick glance at her sweet smile made it go away. Instead, he shrugged, not looking up from his food as he quickly finished it off.

Sitting up, he shoved the bones to the side, making a mental note to get rid of them later. He may not be very good at this whole talking social thing, but he knew walking away was probably not nice. He shook his head and made sure to keep his eyes away from her's, still not used to making eye contact. "Never been to the city."

Lotus blindly stared in the direction of the dark blob that was him as he rose. Oh was he gonna move? Maybe she was too close, she tended to forget how close she might be sometimes "oh you haven't? Mind if I ask where you come from?" He asks softly full of curiosity

If not the city was he a wild cat? A rogue maybe? Stone seemed to take in alot of rogues here and there.

Ezra narrowed his eyes, his fur prickling as he suppressed the urge to just walk away. "It's somewhere far from here, a forest," he grumbled lowly.

His tail flicking, his ears flattened. "What-umm...what about you?" He struggled to keep the conversation going, "have you always lived here?"

Lotus lashed her tail excitedly before calming herself down and wrapping her tail around her legs to still it. She was hoping for a good story but instead the Tom vered the question back at her with a simple reply.

"Oh me?" She thought a little bit , just a moment "well I don't come from here but I've been raised here by my parents Sia and Udi. Udi found me as a cub and they raised me with their own children. " If he didn't wanna awnser, well then she'd give him her own story. "I've been here since though. Dad.. sorry Udi says he almost mistook me for a skunk because of my tail." She giggled and pawed her soft fur. Maybe she could try again and get him to talk a little more? "So.. did you get seperated from your family then?" She questioned tilting her head

Ezra found himself smiling slightly at the young female's happy story. He looked closer at her pelt, realized that she did in fact look a bit like a skunk. Then, he caught himself and quickly schooled his expression into his signature scowl, hoping Lotus hadn't noticed.

Ezra shuffled his paws nervously as she asked about his family, his ears flattening involuntarily, "Ummm...yes a long time ago. Me and my parents we...we were never very close."

Lotus smiled even tho she couldn't see herself she knew somewhat what she looked like thanks to her family's descriptions. Ezra was lucky. Lotus infact didn't notice his expression change thanks to her lack of sight as she gazed at him with clear blue eyes and faded pupils. She had the habit of "staring" even tho she couldn't see she still made sure she was always facing a feline.

She noticed his hesition before speaking and her ears lowered a bit in sadness. "Oh I'm sorry... " She started then smiled warm and sweet " well Stone is your family now" she said closing her eyes and tilting her head in a cute way

Ezra nodded slowly, his ears still flat as he watched Lotus. "They were very distant," he found himself mumbling before he realized. He looked down at his paws, digging his claws into the ground in frustration. He never knew what to say!

"Thank you," he finally said, deciding that was probably a good thing to say as he looked back up at Lotus.

He looked around camp, searching for something to do. He'd gone hunting already. Maybe he could go out again? But...he kind of wanted to stay and talk with this female a little longer. She was... interesting.

Lotus smiled more as he thanked her . Grateful he was still talking to her. He sounded as if he was a bit of an edgy cat. But he was willingly chilling and letting her accompany him.

She inches a bit closer kinda hoping it wasn't to close. "So um.... I'd like to be able to "see" you better... Can I touch for face...?" She asks kinda shyly. She felt awkward now asking to touch someone's face ever since the little incident when she was a cub and just grabbed random cats faces to get a feel for their features.

Ezra watched with wide
eyes as Lotus moved closer, his tail flicking nervously behind him.

For a few long moments the clouded leopard was too shocked to respond, his face furrowed in confusion. Why would she need to touch his face too see?! finally, he forced out a confused response, "sure?"

Lotus shy smile turned into a grin as The male agreeded after a bit of hesitation. She inches a bit closer until she felt her paws touch his own. "Don't worry I do this all the time. It helps me see" she smiled warmly as she leaned back on her haunches and gently felt around the air untill she met soft fur. One paw landed on his cheek the other on his forehead. . He was ... Soft. Letting her paws gently wander she felt his broad round head. Rounded ears. The fluff that sat atop his head and even his warm nose followed by his rounded muzzle. His jaw felt strong and set. Even just from haibface Lotus could tell he was stiff as a log with nervouses.

She giggled softly "* sorry if this makes you nervous."* She said so as she tilted her head down so it would seem like she was gazing right down into his own eyes. Pale blue and grey meeting his own gentle colored eyes. "Could you... I'm describe yourself to me?" She asked once again a bit shyly as her laws traced down his neck feeling his broad neck muscles . He ha slender soft fur so he must be a feline not from the north so he couldn't be snowie? His ears were round so he wasn't a lynx of serval. She was interested and knowing who he was.

Ezra felt his face heat up as she inched closer, and he looked down as he felt her paws brushing against his. "What...umm...what exactly do you mean by 'it helps you see?"? He looked into her eyes, his voice full of confusion.

As her gentle paws ran over his face and neck, he surprised himself as a soft , nervous chuckle left his lips, "just not used to having other cats so close." I can't remember the last time someone else was this close.

Describe myself?

As he felt his tense body slowly start to relax under Lotus' paws, the clouded leopard decided to voice his confusion, "what do you mean?"

Lotus slowly sat back and scooted back a little to give him space. She had felt his face and got a good picture of him she just didn't know what he looked like color wize. To her he was just a shadowy black blob blending into thr darkness and random light she'd "see" behind her blind eyes.

She giggled a little shy again "yeah sorry... I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" she felt nervous herself and shy now "It helps me "see" you tho... well I don't see like you do" she smiled warmly and blinked *"I'm suprised you didn't notice. Most cats pick up on it right away. "I'm blind" she said softly shuffling a paw in the dirt.

"When I feel another felines face it lets me picture in my head what they look like so I'm not just imagining some random cat" she giggled "some think it's weird but I've learned out make things out by touch and smell mostly. " She tilted her head "what do I mean? Oh I mean like, what are you? Species? Color of ur fur ya know, or are eyou really just a dark blob" she teased a bit playfully

Ezra puffed a quiet breath of relief out once Lotus moved back. Having her that close made him feel weird. He could still feel his heart racing in his chest.

Weird.

He tilted his head at her light laugh, his ears pricked and his eyes narrowed in confusion. I'm blind.

The female said it like it was supposed to be something that was obvious and it made the clouded leopard's face heat up again, this time he knew it was from embarrassment. As she continued talking, he finally began to make sense of what she meant. "You...you can't see?" He asked in surprise.

"Dark blob... yeah," he chuckled with a small smile. "I'm a clouded leopard. My fur is kinda light brown with darker and lighter markings," he said, his voice coming out hesitant. Despite the female's words, he didn't know how to describe himself to her.

Lotus smiled ear to ear. She never got mad when felines didn't notice at first. Nor did it bother her that she occasionally got babied cuz her lack of sight. Even though deep down she hated herself that she was blind and had lack of smell. She felt different and she knew it and she knew she'd never be normal. Even tho daddy udi tells her she's perfect.

"Nope I can only see some shadows and light spots if the sun is directly on something." She said matter of factly. She listened as he explained and even tho she was blind she still closed her eyes and imagined what he looked like
"What about ur eyes?" She asked curiously

Feeling less self-conscious now that he knew the female wasn't able to see him, Ezra let himself reciprocate her smile. But, he felt sorry for her. Not being able to see? That sounded horrible!

"My eyes are a very light blue," he said. Now that she'd told him she's blind, it made alot of sense. Her eyes were also blue, but they had an almost gray fog over them and her pupils weren't dark like every other cat's he'd come across before.

The dark feline opened her own eyes ans gazed down in his general direction with her own light grey blue eyes a grin on her face. "Oh mine are blue too daddy says anyway" she replied kneading the ground softly infront of her in happiness. She had a general idea of what he may look like.

She smiled a little shyly now "would be nice if I could actually see you.. I'm sure you look much better then what I'm imagining" or realizing that could come of in many ways but she was oblivious to that fact as she was shy merely because she was embarrassed of her blindess.

"You have pretty eyes," the clouded leopard's words were barely louder than a whisper, but they made him freeze, his tail twitching nervously behind him. Why had he said that?!

Ezra felt his face grow warm and if Lotus had the ability to see, she would notice the faint embarrassed blush on his face.

Lotus expression dropped to one of complete shock as her face flushed red under her dark fur. Due to her blindess her hearing was spectacular. His whisiper was clear to her ears.
Well that was ... New....
The only feline who called her Beautifull anything was her family.
To hear it from him was utter shock and embarrassment. She tucked her head which pushed dher cheek fur around her face and her fur fluffed up all over.

"I.. oh... I um... Well... Thank you..." She said stuttering and giggled a little.

Ezra's blush deepened and his ears flattened back against his head. Of course Lotus was pretty, but he hadn't meant to say it!

"I...umm," the clouded leopard stumbled over his words, feeling like a complete idiot as he struggled to think of what to say. Finally, he managed a quiet, "sorry," feeling slightly less dumb when Lotus giggled.

Lotus was smiling ear to ear despite her own blush running across her cheeks. "No need to be sorry Ez" she giggled again. "It's very much appreciated" she grinned softly in his direction.

"Well. Perhaps I bothered you quiet enough today. Maybe.... we can hang out again sometime..?" She offered with a gently smile. "I like to take afternoon strolls if you'd like to join me for a hunt? I'm not very good tho.... My skills lack a little..." She said bashfully.

Ezra, his face still burning, smiled shyly down at his paws, scuffing at the grass as he tried to fight away his blush.

His head snapped up, his smile falling. He didn't want her to leave. "You...you don't-umm...you don't have to leave," he said. "Unless you have too!" He blurted, feeling like a complete idiot, what was he supposed to say?!

"I...I can teach you if you want?" He mumbled, looking back down at his paws. "I'm not the best...but I've survived this long," he said with a small smile.

Lotus titled her head a little at him. She smiled softly as he offered her to stay. She was conflicted about it. The entire time he seemed like he didn't much want to be bothered she shoved her way in and talked with him anyway.

Yet here he saying she didn't need to go and it made her giggle. "I don't really need to be anywhere just yet but I do have to meet my siblings in a little while." She stated. She shyly scuffed her paw in the dirt. "But I'd like to take up that training with you though. If... You really don't mind that is. I'd hate to burden you." She said softly

The clouded leopard tilted his head down, shuffling around nervously, "You can stay if you'd like, you don't have too though," he added quickly.

He shook his head rapidly, then realized that she can't see him. "No, I wouldn't mind. It'll be better for the empire," he said quietly. He glanced up at her, more comfortable with making eye contact now that he knew she couldn't see him.

And she's pretty. Ezra quickly shook the thought from his head, heat rising to his face once again.

"It wouldn't be a burden at all."

Lotus smiled when she heard him stumbling over words or seeming to be a little paniced. His voice was giving it away. It made her happy he was actually enjoying her company. She could tell he was shaking his head by the ruffle of fur and the at his dark shadow moved briskly.

She nodded at him "how bout we can meet up tomorrow morning right here , same spot? We can go train by the river maybe?" She offered warmly kinda flushing around her cheeks in slight nervousness at how she was asking to train with him.

Ezra nodded, "that works," he said with a small smile. He was surprised at how he was already disliking the idea of having to wait until tomarrow to see the pretty female again. Usually he didn't like other cat's company, but it was different with Lotus and he had no idea why. Maybe it was her blindness? He didn't have to worry about his expressions and he didn't have to keep the hard glare in his eyes to ward off others.

Although he found himself not wanting to be like that too Lotus anyway. He's always preferred being alone, so why didn't he want her to leave? Maybe it was because she was so friendly.

Lotus bounced a little and tapped her front paws on the ground in a happy dance. "Great!" She stopped embarrassed at her own sudden excitement "I mean ahem... Cool cool. So tomorrow morning then?" She stated once more to confirm.

She didn't know why she felt so excited but she was. Mostly because she got to go out without having to ask her family for once... She really needed to get her tail in gear... Being labeled the blind cub wasn't fun as it ketnshe wasn't allowed to go out alone I'll she earned her apprentice title. Maybe getting some Extra training in would help! And well.. she'd like to see him again too. He was interesting.

Ezra shuffled his paws nervously as she asked about his family, his ears flattening involuntarily, "Ummm...yes a long time ago. Me and my parents we...we were never very close."

Lotus smiled even tho she couldn't see herself she knew somewhat what she looked like thanks to her family's descriptions. Ezra was lucky. Lotus infact didn't notice his expression change thanks to her lack of sight as she gazed at him with clear blue eyes and faded pupils. She had the habit of "staring" even tho she couldn't see she still made sure she was always facing a feline.

She noticed his hesition before speaking and her ears lowered a bit in sadness. "Oh I'm sorry... " She started then smiled warm and sweet " well Stone is your family now" she said closing her eyes and tilting her head in a cute way

Ezra nodded slowly, his ears still flat as he watched Lotus. "They were very distant," he found himself mumbling before he realized. He looked down at his paws, digging his claws into the ground in frustration. He never knew what to say!

"Thank you," he finally said, deciding that was probably a good thing to say as he looked back up at Lotus.

He looked around camp, searching for something to do. He'd gone hunting already. Maybe he could go out again? But...he kind of wanted to stay and talk with this female a little longer. She was... interesting.

Lotus smiled more as he thanked her . Grateful he was still talking to her. He sounded as if he was a bit of an edgy cat. But he was willingly chilling and letting her accompany him.

She inches a bit closer kinda hoping it wasn't to close. "So um.... I'd like to be able to "see" you better... Can I touch for face...?" She asks kinda shyly. She felt awkward now asking to touch someone's face ever since the little incident when she was a cub and just grabbed random cats faces to get a feel for their features.

Ezra watched with wide
eyes as Lotus moved closer, his tail flicking nervously behind him.

For a few long moments the clouded leopard was too shocked to respond, his face furrowed in confusion. Why would she need to touch his face too see?! finally, he forced out a confused response, "sure?"

Lotus shy smile turned into a grin as The male agreeded after a bit of hesitation. She inches a bit closer until she felt her paws touch his own. "Don't worry I do this all the time. It helps me see" she smiled warmly as she leaned back on her haunches and gently felt around the air untill she met soft fur. One paw landed on his cheek the other on his forehead. . He was ... Soft. Letting her paws gently wander she felt his broad round head. Rounded ears. The fluff that sat atop his head and even his warm nose followed by his rounded muzzle. His jaw felt strong and set. Even just from haibface Lotus could tell he was stiff as a log with nervouses.

She giggled softly "* sorry if this makes you nervous."* She said so as she tilted her head down so it would seem like she was gazing right down into his own eyes. Pale blue and grey meeting his own gentle colored eyes. "Could you... I'm describe yourself to me?" She asked once again a bit shyly as her laws traced down his neck feeling his broad neck muscles . He ha slender soft fur so he must be a feline not from the north so he couldn't be snowie? His ears were round so he wasn't a lynx of serval. She was interested and knowing who he was.

Ezra felt his face heat up as she inched closer, and he looked down as he felt her paws brushing against his. "What...umm...what exactly do you mean by 'it helps you see?"? He looked into her eyes, his voice full of confusion.

As her gentle paws ran over his face and neck, he surprised himself as a soft , nervous chuckle left his lips, "just not used to having other cats so close." I can't remember the last time someone else was this close.

Describe myself?

As he felt his tense body slowly start to relax under Lotus' paws, the clouded leopard decided to voice his confusion, "what do you mean?"

Lotus slowly sat back and scooted back a little to give him space. She had felt his face and got a good picture of him she just didn't know what he looked like color wize. To her he was just a shadowy black blob blending into thr darkness and random light she'd "see" behind her blind eyes.

She giggled a little shy again "yeah sorry... I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" she felt nervous herself and shy now "It helps me "see" you tho... well I don't see like you do" she smiled warmly and blinked *"I'm suprised you didn't notice. Most cats pick up on it right away. "I'm blind" she said softly shuffling a paw in the dirt.

"When I feel another felines face it lets me picture in my head what they look like so I'm not just imagining some random cat" she giggled "some think it's weird but I've learned out make things out by touch and smell mostly. " She tilted her head "what do I mean? Oh I mean like, what are you? Species? Color of ur fur ya know, or are eyou really just a dark blob" she teased a bit playfully

Ezra puffed a quiet breath of relief out once Lotus moved back. Having her that close made him feel weird. He could still feel his heart racing in his chest.

Weird.

He tilted his head at her light laugh, his ears pricked and his eyes narrowed in confusion. I'm blind.

The female said it like it was supposed to be something that was obvious and it made the clouded leopard's face heat up again, this time he knew it was from embarrassment. As she continued talking, he finally began to make sense of what she meant. "You...you can't see?" He asked in surprise.

"Dark blob... yeah," he chuckled with a small smile. "I'm a clouded leopard. My fur is kinda light brown with darker and lighter markings," he said, his voice coming out hesitant. Despite the female's words, he didn't know how to describe himself to her.

Lotus smiled ear to ear. She never got mad when felines didn't notice at first. Nor did it bother her that she occasionally got babied cuz her lack of sight. Even though deep down she hated herself that she was blind and had lack of smell. She felt different and she knew it and she knew she'd never be normal. Even tho daddy udi tells her she's perfect.

"Nope I can only see some shadows and light spots if the sun is directly on something." She said matter of factly. She listened as he explained and even tho she was blind she still closed her eyes and imagined what he looked like
"What about ur eyes?" She asked curiously

Feeling less self-conscious now that he knew the female wasn't able to see him, Ezra let himself reciprocate her smile. But, he felt sorry for her. Not being able to see? That sounded horrible!

"My eyes are a very light blue," he said. Now that she'd told him she's blind, it made alot of sense. Her eyes were also blue, but they had an almost gray fog over them and her pupils weren't dark like every other cat's he'd come across before.

The dark feline opened her own eyes ans gazed down in his general direction with her own light grey blue eyes a grin on her face. "Oh mine are blue too daddy says anyway" she replied kneading the ground softly infront of her in happiness. She had a general idea of what he may look like.

She smiled a little shyly now "would be nice if I could actually see you.. I'm sure you look much better then what I'm imagining" or realizing that could come of in many ways but she was oblivious to that fact as she was shy merely because she was embarrassed of her blindess.

"You have pretty eyes," the clouded leopard's words were barely louder than a whisper, but they made him freeze, his tail twitching nervously behind him. Why had he said that?!

Ezra felt his face grow warm and if Lotus had the ability to see, she would notice the faint embarrassed blush on his face.

Lotus expression dropped to one of complete shock as her face flushed red under her dark fur. Due to her blindess her hearing was spectacular. His whisiper was clear to her ears.
Well that was ... New....
The only feline who called her Beautifull anything was her family.
To hear it from him was utter shock and embarrassment. She tucked her head which pushed dher cheek fur around her face and her fur fluffed up all over.

"I.. oh... I um... Well... Thank you..." She said stuttering and giggled a little.

Ezra's blush deepened and his ears flattened back against his head. Of course Lotus was pretty, but he hadn't meant to say it!

"I...umm," the clouded leopard stumbled over his words, feeling like a complete idiot as he struggled to think of what to say. Finally, he managed a quiet, "sorry," feeling slightly less dumb when Lotus giggled.

Lotus was smiling ear to ear despite her own blush running across her cheeks. "No need to be sorry Ez" she giggled again. "It's very much appreciated" she grinned softly in his direction.

"Well. Perhaps I bothered you quiet enough today. Maybe.... we can hang out again sometime..?" She offered with a gently smile. "I like to take afternoon strolls if you'd like to join me for a hunt? I'm not very good tho.... My skills lack a little..." She said bashfully.

Ezra, his face still burning, smiled shyly down at his paws, scuffing at the grass as he tried to fight away his blush.

His head snapped up, his smile falling. He didn't want her to leave. "You...you don't-umm...you don't have to leave," he said. "Unless you have too!" He blurted, feeling like a complete idiot, what was he supposed to say?!

"I...I can teach you if you want?" He mumbled, looking back down at his paws. "I'm not the best...but I've survived this long," he said with a small smile.

Lotus titled her head a little at him. She smiled softly as he offered her to stay. She was conflicted about it. The entire time he seemed like he didn't much want to be bothered she shoved her way in and talked with him anyway.

Yet here he saying she didn't need to go and it made her giggle. "I don't really need to be anywhere just yet but I do have to meet my siblings in a little while." She stated. She shyly scuffed her paw in the dirt. "But I'd like to take up that training with you though. If... You really don't mind that is. I'd hate to burden you." She said softly

The clouded leopard tilted his head down, shuffling around nervously, "You can stay if you'd like, you don't have too though," he added quickly.

He shook his head rapidly, then realized that she can't see him. "No, I wouldn't mind. It'll be better for the empire," he said quietly. He glanced up at her, more comfortable with making eye contact now that he knew she couldn't see him.

And she's pretty. Ezra quickly shook the thought from his head, heat rising to his face once again.

"It wouldn't be a burden at all."

Lotus smiled when she heard him stumbling over words or seeming to be a little paniced. His voice was giving it away. It made her happy he was actually enjoying her company. She could tell he was shaking his head by the ruffle of fur and the at his dark shadow moved briskly.

She nodded at him "how bout we can meet up tomorrow morning right here , same spot? We can go train by the river maybe?" She offered warmly kinda flushing around her cheeks in slight nervousness at how she was asking to train with him.

Ezra nodded, "that works," he said with a small smile. He was surprised at how he was already disliking the idea of having to wait until tomarrow to see the pretty female again. Usually he didn't like other cat's company, but it was different with Lotus and he had no idea why. Maybe it was her blindness? He didn't have to worry about his expressions and he didn't have to keep the hard glare in his eyes to ward off others.

Although he found himself not wanting to be like that too Lotus anyway. He's always preferred being alone, so why didn't he want her to leave? Maybe it was because she was so friendly.

Lotus bounced a little and tapped her front paws on the ground in a happy dance. "Great!" She stopped embarrassed at her own sudden excitement "I mean ahem... Cool cool. So tomorrow morning then?" She stated once more to confirm.

She didn't know why she felt so excited but she was. Mostly because she got to go out without having to ask her family for once... She really needed to get her tail in gear... Being labeled the blind cub wasn't fun as it ketnshe wasn't allowed to go out alone I'll she earned her apprentice title. Maybe getting some Extra training in would help! And well.. she'd like to see him again too. He was interesting.
