(Many thanks to TK-Tigerkat for the idea and inspiration for this pic!)After Centiback was defeated by the rangers (with buckets!?) he lost his transforming football powers and had to return to the Moon Palace in shame. Finster, the monster maker, took pity on his creation and helped Centiback regain his powers. Finster also gave him a magic whistle that he promised would help his monsterous son get revenge on the rangers.
Returning to Earth Centiback stalked Rocky, the red ranger who had defeated him the last time they fought. After a confrontation the two battled, with each side holding their own. Centiback took out his secret weapon and blew the whistle. The red ranger stopped dead in his tracks, compelled to obey. At fist he tried to fight it, but with each whistle blown Rocky fell deeper under the monster's control, starting to think like a football player and coming to see Centiback as his coach. Slowly, his uniform started changing and bulking up into football pads, his colorchanging to match Centiback's.
Here we find Rocky attempting to resist, but unable to control his own thoughts as Centiback's spirit takes over his mind and fills him with football frenzy. His power coin has become corrupted, changing from his power animal to a centipede wrapped around a football and showing how tainted he has become by the monster's spell.
Soon he will be a member of Centiback's team, and the two will formulate a gameplan to bring the rest of the rangers to Centiback's side...

Heh...there's a twist. Get him on team ranger, and he can be like their Ninjor to call into battle. I always thought Centiback had a true heart, so seeing him turn good would make sense for him.

I bet the way he sees it, it does not matter what gender, nationality, or species you are; so long as you know the game and can play as a team then Centiback's "team" is open to anyone. Right?

Yeah! I love that idea. I've definitely thought about Centiback joining the rangers. And honestly I'd love to see Terror Toad be an ally.Β
But there was that one episode with Waspicable where he ended up becoming friends with a ranger. Always found that storyline to be very sweet.

At the end of the episode where he annoys Rita and Zedd, maybe he could be chased out and banished yet could get saved by the Rangers who take him in.

As a human, I can picture Centiback still being a rather big guy (a "giant among men", you could day); built and muscular, likely with a ten-pack washboard set of abs. I picture him looking like an Asian-American (half-Japanese and half-American) with a completely bald head.Β Not to mention that underneath his clothes, I can picture human Centiback could have his muscled body adorned with centipede tattoos; especially on his chest, stomach back, and arms.
How does that sound?
As for his civilian name, it could be something like Montgomery "Monty" Oumukade.
What do you think of this take on a human form for him? What do you think of the choice of a civilian name for him?

Storywise, yes.
As for the name Centiback would take for his guise, it was based on TWO things:
1.) Monty Oum, the creator of the online series Red vs Blue and RWBY.
2.)Β Oumukade, Centiback's Sentai inspiration [BTW, it also means "giant centipede"].

Hey, really enjoyed this story.. Would love to read the conclusion and secretly hoping that Centiback and his team are victorious! I have had a go at writing a MMPR Monster TF but this time its for my favourite monster Bratboy.. Good work with the Centiback story guys, its really caught the imagination, really enjoyed it!

Awww I'm really glad you like it! It's been a while since there have been updates, but I have been talking with my co-author recently about finishing it. No promises, but it is in progress!

I`d say that the Centiback Returns story is my favourite TF story I have ever read.. It covers so much including physical TF and mental/prchological conditioning... It really is amazing..
I think I am going to have a go at writing more Ranger Monster TFs, its just fantastic to finally find more people on the net with the same sort PR Monster TF interest.
It would be AMAZING if you guys could finish the story, it really would be.. I have let my imagination run away with me as to how it could end but its not the same as you guys finishing it, you`ve both done such a fabulous job already, it would be great to see how you guys would close the story.. I understand though, its hard to find the time but I would be over the moon if you guys could finish the story and I know there are loads of people here who would be as well (No pressure, LOL!).. But once again thank you, you guys wrote (in my eyes) the best TF story ever!!

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you so much for your kind words - it really makes these kinds of stories so much more rewarding to write knowing there are people out there who appreciate them, regardless of how small the fan group may be
We did have an outline for the end of the story (which I'd be happy to divulge if you don't want to wait for the end of the story - I estimate it'll still be a month or so before it's done), but I would also love to hear what your thoughts would be! If you wanna wait, I know you'll like the ending.

Fantastic.. Well my idea is a series of stories involving monster tf`s from all incarnations of the Power Rangers, from MMPR to Megaforce..The basic strapline is that Rita, Zedd and their minions have succeeded in defeating the Power Rangers.. Not content with spreading their empire throughout the Power Rangers Universe they are now looking to conquer other universes and adding unwilling converts to their ranks.. My first story deals with a kid, much like Rocky, but he feels he doesn`t fit in and is socially inept.. He falls in with the wrong crowd and to besome a member of the gang he is dared to break into a local museum, a strange place that no one noticed before.. He breaks in and stumbles into a grand room with what seems to be costumes of former Power Rangers monsters.. He phones the gang, he finds out that they knew something was going on as other members went in and never came out, the gang leader said he saw potential in him and thats why he dared him to go in as he thought he`d come out again.. He throws the phone across the room in anger and it disintegrates..

The general idea is though that if Centiback doesn't fill the football 'egg' with his power, they just stay like that forever.

Well, what about if after beating them down to a weakened point, he slams them with one of his tf balls hard in the gut, it folds them over, around it. They find themselves sticking together, their arms and legs pulling tight as they taking on more of a football shape, face forward, shrinking down to a size more in step with the Centiback,while their bare hole is exposed on the other side for the winning Centiback to enjoy their game ball when ever they like.
