*CHAPTER 1 - ENTER THE TERROR TOAD*

"So…a toad?" Rita growled, "A bad one I assume?"

"Yes! That is correct! In fact, it is a Terror Toad my queen. As you may recall, we had great success with it on Sorcery 7. He's large, hungry, and quite mean."

"Enough talking! Prepare it Finster!"

"Ah yes of course," the white gremlin said obediently and went about his task.

"Ay yi yi yi yi!" Alpha held his head and swayed back and forth in panic as the monster alarm sounded. This was the worst possible time for an attack. Of the five rangers, two had been poisoned by the evil monster Baboo and now were useless for fighting. They had become aggressive punks and now had to be held in an energy cage in the command center to keep them from doing any harm to themselves or others.

The three teens gathered around the viewing globe to see Rita's latest creation. They saw the imposing form of a toad, round and bloated with an enormous belly and an even bigger mouth. His skin was green and covered in bumpy warts, while his smooth belly was yellow speckled with red highlights at the top and bottom. More than a regular toad, the monster also had red frills on the back of his head and a single horn curling out from his forehead. Fearsome claws on the monster's flippers and a row of small sharp teeth lining its mouth gave the amphibian an intimidating presence.

With Kim and Billy rendered useless by their punk poisoning, it left only Jason, Zack and Trini remaining to fight the monster.

"Rita has taken advantage of this situation and released a Terror Toad on earth," Zordon said. "He must be stopped!"

"Wow…look at that cool frog. Wartsville!" punk-Kimberly remarked as punk-Billy laughing along with her.

"It's Rita's most evil creation yet - the Terror Toad. It has an enormous appetite. Be careful, and let the power protect you!"

"It's morphin time!" "Mastadon!" Sabre-toothed Tiger!" "Tyrannosaurus!"

The black, yellow and red rangers teleported to the scene and immediately flipped into action in full ranger uniform.

"All right rangers, let's go!" Jason commanded as the rangers switched their blasters into sword mode and jumped into the air. Striking from three sides, the rangers landed a triple blow down on the toad's head all at once.

The monster was barely pushed back, easily blocking the attack with his forearms. The Terror Toad roared and flung both arms out wide, smacking each ranger and sending them flying backwards.

The three rangers rolled with the blows and quickly got to their feet as the Terror Toad rushed in for an attack, croaking with an evil laugh. In spite of his size the monster was lightning quick, using his claws to swipe at the rangers as they circled him looking for an opening in his defense. One by one they came in for an attack, slashing their Blade Blaster and kicking him hard, but their blows had no effect. One by one the monster faced each ranger, dodging their blows and giving them a spinning slash from his flippers that sent each ranger flying backwards in turn.

As the Terror Toad turned his back, the yellow ranger saw an opportunity. Jumping in with her blade blaster, Trini slashed down hard into the monster's belly. But as her sword struck the giant creature it stopped with a disappointing thud, unable to pierce the toad's thick skin. Trini suddenly realized she was all alone, and she had the monster's undivided attention.

Leering at Trini with an evil grin, the Terror Toad charged at the yellow ranger belly-first. Trini backpedaled quickly, tripping over her feet and stumbling out of the way as she barely avoided being trampled.

"How about going for a little spin bud?" the Terror Toad said, laughing derisively.

With a quick whirl the monster's flippers smacked the ranger hard across the helmet, sending her spinning like a top while a slap from the other flipper in succession sent her flying backwards into the dirt with a heavy thud.

Trini was seeing stars, her head still ringing from the blow as she struggled to get to her feet. She stood up to find the Terror Toad glaring at her, the hungry look in his eye filling the ranger with worry.

With a quick motion the monster leaned over and held his flippers up to his forehead, putting them on either side of his single horn. The horn started to glow bright yellow then expand outwards, coalescing and taking the shape of a yellow pac-man about the size of a basketball.

The glowing head opened its mouth and a giant white energy tongue snaked out into the air, spanning the 20 feet between the monster and Trini in a quick serpentine path. She only had time to hold up her hands in defense as the tongue closed in and wrapped twice around her waist.

The yellow ranger felt a sudden jolt of energy as the tongue pulled tight around her, causing her to flail convulsively. The end of the energy tongue quickly snaked up above her, its bulbous tip coming down and licking the top of her head sending out a flash of yellow energy. The tongue licked again and Trini was suddenly engulfed in a bright yellow light.

The rangers heard the last of Trini's cries for help as the yellow ranger disappeared, turning into a large yellow sphere of energy. The toad's energy tongue dissipated into nothing as the yellow ball of energy fluttered through the air and directly into the Terror Toad's gaping maw. With a snap the maw closed, followed by a loud gulp.

"Yum yum yum…delicious!" the Terror Toad laughed and patted the top of his giant round belly, making a loud hollow sound like a drum. The rangers all looked on as suddenly a picture of Trini's helmet appeared on his belly right where the toad was rubbing.

"He's got Trini!" Jason yelled out as the red and black rangers pulled back to regroup. It had all happened so quickly that neither ranger had time to save their teammate.

"Now taste my power, pipsqueaks!" the toad laughed and touched his flippers to his forehead. They could see the horn pulsing with power as three giant starbursts of energy shot out at the rangers. The explosion knocked them all off their feet in unison.

The ranger groaned, but quickly stood up to face the monster, undeterred. To their shock, the Terror Toad was nowhere to be found.

"Where'd he go?" Zack said, rushing forward to look for traces of the monster or Trini.

"We'd better look around," Jason stepped forward, taking the lead.

"If that thing ate Trini, then there's no time to waste. We don't know what's going to happen to her inside the Terror Toad's belly. If he went off to go digest his meal, he's got another thing coming!" the red ranger clenched his fist tight as the two rangers headed off together in search of the Terror Toad.

*CHAPTER 2 - TOAD TIME FOR TRINI*

In a clearing outside of Angel Grove, far away from the battle, a glowing white sphere of energy descended from above and floated to earth. The orb started to distend in shape, then a strip of light begin to unravel, turning into an energy tongue that unwound itself from the sphere. Suddenly the Terror Toad emerged from the middle in all his glory. In a swirling slurp the energy tongue pulled back into its glowing head and disappeared into the toad's horn.

"This'll make sure those other pesky flies don't find us, *ribbit*" the toad croaked as he slowly rubbed the yellow helmet on his belly, knowing that inside his devoured victim could clearly feel every prod and poke.

The Terror Toad stood for a moment to admire the tattoo on his belly, basking in the enormous amounts of energy that he was currently absorbing from the super-powered teen trapped inside. The longer the victim was inside the belly, the more their energy was drained by tendrils of energy that wrapped around the victim, sapping their life force until they were fully digested and their tattoos faded from his body. Most animals took seconds to digest, humans lasted five to ten minutes, but this ranger had far more energy than anything he had ever eaten before.

"Mmmmmm….perhaps you were too good to be eaten so quickly, ranger. A meal like you really needs to be savored!" the toad growled lustily as he spoke to the picture on his belly, rubbing it over and over with his flipper.

Something stirred deep inside the Terror Toad as he felt his victim writhing inside him, valiantly struggling against his stomach's digestive powers as his belly relentlessly drained her strength. The display of raw power from his meal was starting to excite the toad in a way he had not known. It filled him with a ravenous hunger, but this was a different kind of hunger. He felt a longing, a desire, a primal urge to make her his own.

Terror Toad opened his mouth wide as suddenly the yellow ranger helmet tattoo disappeared from his belly, a yellow ball of energy rising from his belly floating up out his maw and into the air, bobbing lazily before distending outwards and reforming into a human shape, dumping Trini unceremoniously onto the ground.

"Wha…what happened? Where am I?" Trini's knees wobbled as she stood up, holding her throbbing head. She felt weak and her vision was blurry, looking around to find none of her teammates in sight.

"Your friends can't help you now little girl!" the Terror Toad said, stepping towards Trini.

The yellow ranger backed away, drawing her blade-blaster. Without her teammates, she knew she was no match for the toad. She looked around, looking for any easy escape route but finding only thickets of trees on every side.

"You're going to surrender to me, ranger. Your body and energy will soon belong to me, and together we will defeat the rest of the rangers and take over this puny planet!"

"Never, fly-breath! I'll never give my powers to you!" Trini held her blaster up threateningly, though inside she felt her confidence eroding with her teammates nowhere in sight.

"Have it your way!" the Terror Toad growled loudly and launched himself fist-first at Trini, striking her hard in the chest and sending the ranger flying. She was beset upon by the monster as soon as she stood up, a pair of hard slaps across her face clawed flipper sending her spinning back to the dirt.

Trini was seeing stars now as every muscle in her body throbbed with pain. Rising to her feet the yellow ranger wobbled unsteadily and faced the Terror Toad.

"You're not looking so good there, ranger. Maybe you'd be more comfortable back in my belly!" the Toad chuckled, enjoying watching the ranger struggle like a fly trapped in a spider's web, allowing the monster to assert his dominance.

Trini stood her ground again and again as the Terror Toad knocked the ranger down with his giant flippers. He slammed his massive belly into her and laughed as she fell on her backside, then rushed forward and tried to smother her underneath his body with an earth-shaking belly-flop that Trini only avoided by inches.

Trini tried to run, but the toad's tongue shot out and caught her ankle and wrapped around it tight. With a hard tug Trini was swept off her feet, flipping backwards and landing on her head with a jarring blow.

"Awwww did I break the ranger? Well then, you won't be needing this anymore!" the monster laughed and opened his mouth, a tongue shooting out towards the yellow ranger.
The tongue slammed into her waist, sticking with a loud splat. Pulling back again with a mighty jerk, Trini's morpher was ripped clean from her body. The belt went sailing through the air and right into Terror Toad's mouth, disappeared with a loud gulp.

"*gulp* Yum yum! Your power coin was delicious!" the monster said, rubbing his belly. "Now for the main course!"

Trini reached out after it but it was too late, as soon as the morpher was ripped off her powers began to fade. In a second her ranger uniform had faded completely and left Trini powerless in her street clothes, a yellow t-shirt and knee-length black skirt.

Trini grabbed her wrist-communicator and desperately fumbled for the teleporter button. As she put her hand up to her mouth to give the teleportation command, Terror Toad's tongue shot out and wrapped around her wrist. Grabbing his tongue like a lasso, Terror Toad pulled hard and jerked Trini towards him roughly.

She felt the toad grab her shoulders as she was reeled in like a fish, the powerful flippers gripping tightly and pulling her against his body. Suddenly Trini found herself in a constricting hug, her body squashed against the monster's belly so hard she could feel herself sink into the taut rubbery hide.

"Where do you think you're going?" the monster said, looking right down at Trini. "We haven't even begun yet!"

Holding her tight in one arm, Terror Toad grabbed Trini's communicator and pulled it from her wrist, then threw it to the ground and stomped on it with a clawed frog foot. Terror Toad laughed as he could feel Trini sink in his arms, fear and despair gripping the ranger as she heard her last hope of escape smashed into a thousand pieces.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha! You belong to me now!"

Pushing her roughly from his arms, Trini stumbled away from the toad. She turned and got an open-handed slap to the face that rung her bell, sending the ranger teetering backwards. Terror Toad stepped forward and grabbed her under the arms and tossed her into the air with all his might, the ranger flying through the air and slamming into a tree trunk.

Trini's mind reeled, feeling dizzy and broken as a throbbing pain gripped her whole body. She looked up and glared at the monster with gritted teeth, using all her willpower to stand up and face the monster defiantly. To her surprise as she stepped forward the Terror Toad stopped in his tracks.

"You've got spirit, kid," the Terror Toad croaked. "I was right about you after all! *ribbit*You'll make a fine wife!"

"Never!" Trini cried out in protest, taking a fighting stance.

"Oh honey, don't be like that! *ribbit*" the Terror Toad laughed and stomped forward with his arms open wide.

"Come here and give your husband a kiss, and seal your fate to become my toad queen!"

Terror Toad opened his mouth wide, sending his tongue shooting out and wrapping around Trini's neck. The Terror Toad laughed loudly as he slowly reeled his tongue in. The monster's strength quickly overpowered Trini, dragged closer and closer until she felt his flippers once again clamp down over her shoulders.

With a flourish Trini was spun around, facing away from the Terror Toad and pinned against his belly. She felt a warm blast of air as the monster opened his mouth, pulling her head back into the gaping maw.

Looking up Trini saw the mouth clamp down hard over her face, plunging her into a tight warm darkness and drenching her in a hot slimy fluid.

Trini watched the Terror Toad put his hands to his forehead as the glowing head came to life. "So…a toad?" Rita growled, "A bad one I assume?"

"Yes! That is correct! In fact, it is a Terror Toad my queen. As you may recall, we had great success with it on Sorcery 7. He's large, hungry, and quite mean."

"Enough talking! Prepare it Finster!"

"Ah yes of course," the white gremlin said obediently and went about his task.

"Ay yi yi yi yi!" Alpha held his head and swayed back and forth in panic as the monster alarm sounded. This was the worst possible time for an attack. Of the five rangers, two had been poisoned by the evil monster Baboo and now were useless for fighting. They had become aggressive punks and now had to be held in an energy cage in the command center to keep them from doing any harm to themselves or others.

The three teens gathered around the viewing globe to see Rita's latest creation. They saw the imposing form of a toad, round and bloated with an enormous belly and an even bigger mouth. His skin was green and covered in bumpy warts, while his smooth belly was yellow speckled with red highlights at the top and bottom. More than a regular toad, the monster also had red frills on the back of his head and a single horn curling out from his forehead. Fearsome claws on the monster's flippers and a row of small sharp teeth lining its mouth gave the amphibian an intimidating presence.

With Kim and Billy rendered useless by their punk poisoning, it left only Jason, Zack and Trini remaining to fight the monster.

"Rita has taken advantage of this situation and released a Terror Toad on earth," Zordon said. "He must be stopped!"

"Wow…look at that cool frog. Wartsville!" punk-Kimberly remarked as punk-Billy laughing along with her.

"It's Rita's most evil creation yet - the Terror Toad. It has an enormous appetite. Be careful, and let the power protect you!"

"It's morphin time!" "Mastadon!" Sabre-toothed Tiger!" "Tyrannosaurus!"

The black, yellow and red rangers teleported to the scene and immediately flipped into action in full ranger uniform.

"All right rangers, let's go!" Jason commanded as the rangers switched their blasters into sword mode and jumped into the air. Striking from three sides, the rangers landed a triple blow down on the toad's head all at once.

The monster was barely pushed back, easily blocking the attack with his forearms. The Terror Toad roared and flung both arms out wide, smacking each ranger and sending them flying backwards.

The three rangers rolled with the blows and quickly got to their feet as the Terror Toad rushed in for an attack, croaking with an evil laugh. In spite of his size the monster was lightning quick, using his claws to swipe at the rangers as they circled him looking for an opening in his defense. One by one they came in for an attack, slashing their Blade Blaster and kicking him hard, but their blows had no effect. One by one the monster faced each ranger, dodging their blows and giving them a spinning slash from his flippers that sent each ranger flying backwards in turn.

As the Terror Toad turned his back, the yellow ranger saw an opportunity. Jumping in with her blade blaster, Trini slashed down hard into the monster's belly. But as her sword struck the giant creature it stopped with a disappointing thud, unable to pierce the toad's thick skin. Trini suddenly realized she was all alone, and she had the monster's undivided attention.

Leering at Trini with an evil grin, the Terror Toad charged at the yellow ranger belly-first. Trini backpedaled quickly, tripping over her feet and stumbling out of the way as she barely avoided being trampled.

"How about going for a little spin bud?" the Terror Toad said, laughing derisively.

With a quick whirl the monster's flippers smacked the ranger hard across the helmet, sending her spinning like a top while a slap from the other flipper in succession sent her flying backwards into the dirt with a heavy thud.

Trini was seeing stars, her head still ringing from the blow as she struggled to get to her feet. She stood up to find the Terror Toad glaring at her, the hungry look in his eye filling the ranger with worry.

With a quick motion the monster leaned over and held his flippers up to his forehead, putting them on either side of his single horn. The horn started to glow bright yellow then expand outwards, coalescing and taking the shape of a yellow pac-man about the size of a basketball.

The glowing head opened its mouth and a giant white energy tongue snaked out into the air, spanning the 20 feet between the monster and Trini in a quick serpentine path. She only had time to hold up her hands in defense as the tongue closed in and wrapped twice around her waist.

The yellow ranger felt a sudden jolt of energy as the tongue pulled tight around her, causing her to flail convulsively. The end of the energy tongue quickly snaked up above her, its bulbous tip coming down and licking the top of her head sending out a flash of yellow energy. The tongue licked again and Trini was suddenly engulfed in a bright yellow light.

The rangers heard the last of Trini's cries for help as the yellow ranger disappeared, turning into a large yellow sphere of energy. The toad's energy tongue dissipated into nothing as the yellow ball of energy fluttered through the air and directly into the Terror Toad's gaping maw. With a snap the maw closed, followed by a loud gulp.

"Yum yum yum…delicious!" the Terror Toad laughed and patted the top of his giant round belly, making a loud hollow sound like a drum. The rangers all looked on as suddenly a picture of Trini's helmet appeared on his belly right where the toad was rubbing.

"He's got Trini!" Jason yelled out as the red and black rangers pulled back to regroup. It had all happened so quickly that neither ranger had time to save their teammate.

"Now taste my power, pipsqueaks!" the toad laughed and touched his flippers to his forehead. They could see the horn pulsing with power as three giant starbursts of energy shot out at the rangers. The explosion knocked them all off their feet in unison.

The ranger groaned, but quickly stood up to face the monster, undeterred. To their shock, the Terror Toad was nowhere to be found.

"Where'd he go?" Zack said, rushing forward to look for traces of the monster or Trini.

"We'd better look around," Jason stepped forward, taking the lead.

"If that thing ate Trini, then there's no time to waste. We don't know what's going to happen to her inside the Terror Toad's belly. If he went off to go digest his meal, he's got another thing coming!" the red ranger clenched his fist tight as the two rangers headed off together in search of the Terror Toad.

*CHAPTER 2 - TOAD TIME FOR TRINI*

In a clearing outside of Angel Grove, far away from the battle, a glowing white sphere of energy descended from above and floated to earth. The orb started to distend in shape, then a strip of light begin to unravel, turning into an energy tongue that unwound itself from the sphere. Suddenly the Terror Toad emerged from the middle in all his glory. In a swirling slurp the energy tongue pulled back into its glowing head and disappeared into the toad's horn.

"This'll make sure those other pesky flies don't find us, *ribbit*" the toad croaked as he slowly rubbed the yellow helmet on his belly, knowing that inside his devoured victim could clearly feel every prod and poke.

The Terror Toad stood for a moment to admire the tattoo on his belly, basking in the enormous amounts of energy that he was currently absorbing from the super-powered teen trapped inside. The longer the victim was inside the belly, the more their energy was drained by tendrils of energy that wrapped around the victim, sapping their life force until they were fully digested and their tattoos faded from his body. Most animals took seconds to digest, humans lasted five to ten minutes, but this ranger had far more energy than anything he had ever eaten before.

"Mmmmmm….perhaps you were too good to be eaten so quickly, ranger. A meal like you really needs to be savored!" the toad growled lustily as he spoke to the picture on his belly, rubbing it over and over with his flipper.

Something stirred deep inside the Terror Toad as he felt his victim writhing inside him, valiantly struggling against his stomach's digestive powers as his belly relentlessly drained her strength. "Wha…what happened? Where am I?" Trini's knees wobbled as she stood up, holding her throbbing head. She felt weak and her vision was blurry, looking around to find none of her teammates in sight.

"Your friends can't help you now little girl!" the Terror Toad said, stepping towards Trini.

The yellow ranger backed away, drawing her blade-blaster. Without her teammates, she knew she was no match for the toad. She looked around, looking for any easy escape route but finding only thickets of trees on every side.

"You're going to surrender to me, ranger. Your body and energy will soon belong to me, and together we will defeat the rest of the rangers and take over this puny planet!"

"Never, fly-breath! I'll never give my powers to you!" Trini held her blaster up threateningly, though inside she felt her confidence eroding with her teammates nowhere in sight.

"Have it your way!" the Terror Toad growled loudly and launched himself fist-first at Trini, striking her hard in the chest and sending the ranger flying. She was beset upon by the monster as soon as she stood up, a pair of hard slaps across her face clawed flipper sending her spinning back to the dirt.

Trini was seeing stars now as every muscle in her body throbbed with pain. Rising to her feet the yellow ranger wobbled unsteadily and faced the Terror Toad.

"You're not looking so good there, ranger. Maybe you'd be more comfortable back in my belly!" the Toad chuckled, enjoying watching the ranger struggle like a fly trapped in a spider's web, allowing the monster to assert his dominance.

Trini stood her ground again and again as the Terror Toad knocked the ranger down with his giant flippers. He slammed his massive belly into her and laughed as she fell on her backside, then rushed forward and tried to smother her underneath his body with an earth-shaking belly-flop that Trini only avoided by inches.

Trini grabbed her wrist-communicator and desperately fumbled for the teleporter button. As she put her hand up to her mouth to give the teleportation command, Terror Toad's tongue shot out and wrapped around her wrist. She felt the toad grab her shoulders as she was reeled in like a fish, the powerful flippers gripping tightly and pulling her against his body. "Never!" Trini cried out in protest, taking a fighting stance.

"Oh honey, don't be like that! *ribbit*" the Terror Toad laughed and stomped forward with his arms open wide.

"Come here and give your husband a kiss, and seal your fate to become my toad queen!"

Terror Toad opened his mouth wide, sending his tongue shooting out and wrapping around Trini's neck. The Terror Toad laughed loudly as he slowly reeled his tongue in.
