you know... I really wanted to do a render of him last year but I got lazy and never got around to itthis year I'm breaking through any holiday art block and getting stuff done!

My favorite part about this model is how the hat is on one of his ears rather than the center of his head.

I like it, but I would have preferred seeing the hat between his ears. This is for two reasons:
1: Symetry (I am a little obsessed with it on certain characters.)
2: It wouldn't impact his hearing.
Yes, I know reason two is stupid in a series that plays fast and loose with physics but when one ear is covered, it's hard not to think about how things sound to him.
