Sylux from the Nintendo DS game Metroid Prime HuntersRecently he's been spectated to be one of the DLC characters for Smash Ultimate due to a lack of appearance in the game and his upcoming appearance in Metroid Prime 4

Beautifully clean render! I sure hope Sylux is among the last of the DLC fighters in Ultimate. My guess would be that we would have Sylux to help promote Prime 4.

You can be sure Sylux won't make it in Smash Ultimate as DLC, even Smash 6. Before Dark Samus apparition, it was between Dark Samus and Sylux. Dark appear in multiples games, not Sylux. Now Dark Samus and have multiples attacks different from Samus, but still it's only a Echo, a character who appear once and only have 1 or 2 attacks very similar to Dark Samus is sure to not appear in this series.
In order or priorities, they will De-Echo Dark Samus, before include Sylux. They also will give attacks, maybe from Sylux to Dark Samus before include Sylux. And they will probably include a lot of characters from others series, before that too.
But hey, you still can dream what you want. ^^ Just, I think you are better to enjoy Dark Samus, cause with this one and Ridley, this series is not ready to include new character for a Long Time (talking about maybe 10 new years to wait). But if Piranha Plant make it, maybe you can inspect for a Metroid Character, itself (I mean the creature Metroid). It would be Special and Cool too! ^^

I feel as though they would have Sylux repeat what Corrin did in Wii U/3DS; become a DLC character to market Metroid Prime 4. Given that the game hasn't released yet, we can assume he might have some changes from Metroid Prime Hunters, given he has a ship that looks different from the Delano 7 in Prime 3, and presumably has a Metroid in his possession from Federation Force.

Oooh, nice. Metroid Prime 4 was the original reason I purchased a Nintendo Switch, although The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Sonic Forces were nice bonuses.
