It wasn't a sports game it was scrapped game when it was supposed to compete with mario 64 and crash bandicoot but the game didn't look that impressing compare to those two so they cancelled it.

Sega decided to can her and there probably never will use her again, but she did appear as a cameo in one of the sonic archie comics

Sonic Archie Comics always give respect to all the characters.Β Shame its over.Β But hey, they brought back Mighty and Ray after so many years so maybe they will consider her if the fans keep asking.Β (Then again, Mighty and Ray were in a released game before)
