This piece very matter of factly illustrates a moment from a nightmare I once had. A shuttle bus let me off in the middle of a very normal looking upper-middle class neighborhood. Then I saw this house and its garage. The massive, and very distorted picture window looking out from the attic of the house, and the void of the open garage door were both unnaturally black. In the dream it was understood that a serial killer doctor lived in the house and he had a serial killer handyman who assisted him and lived in the garage. Someone in the dream told me, don't go in that house!
