These are beautiful - and smooth! Do you have a new workflow to create the meshes? Seems you got rid of these annoying stepping patterns caused by the voxel export!

Hello, no i do not use a new workflow to export voxels from MB3D, but i have now a new computer very very powerfull and i can export my meshes at 1500x1500x1500 voxels and i obtaint better results. But i also use a new 3D tools called Deskartes 3Data Expert, this software is very expensive but the result is really excellent, now i can reduce the number of polygones without destroying the geometry of the mesh.
You can try for free but only 15 days the software www.deskartes.com/products/3da…
But it exist also hacked version of this software on the net ......
The official price is 1'350.- dollars
Cheers, Nic

Thank you Nic! The Descartes Expert seems to be a great program - I'll try it for my next detailed MB3D export! The stepping patterns and loss of details kept me in the past from voxel exports!

These are wicked awesome. How much post-work do you need to do after printing? Is it just paint or lots of smoothing/filing?

With metal printing no post work no cleaning only polishing a bit the surface. The 3D printers used for metal lazer printing cost 25'000 dollars, for this price you may obtaint a perfect and clean model.
Thank you a lot for your comment on my work

New bucket list items:
1) win lottery
2) get large-format archival quality full color printer
2) get metal 3D printer
Thank you!
