Scout IS awesome xD Here's a random pile of notes i threw together for critique:
I love the detail and accuracy on the hat, great job getting the textures down, and for adding detail to the microphone - noone ever does that, so it's nice to see the small details getting some love. I alsolike the texture of the handwraps and the way you have his right arm fading into the background - very cool and neatly done. For improvement, I would say make the neck a bit thinner - right now it seemsmore like a neck you'd find on a bodybuilder instead of a runner. Maybe make the back line a bit concave instead of straight to give it less of a cylinder shape. Also - this is just me being nitpicky - his left shoulder seems to be centered a bit far down. It's not something one would immediately noticed, but just for future reference I would start the shoulder a bit closer to the neck. I love the texturing, winkles and shading in the clothing, and the shiny dogtags look very good - realistic, but at the same time with a unique blended-looking style that makes them give off that metallic shine. (I also love the eyes - they have a lot of personality and the shading makes them look very deep and clear just like real eyes. Also, very, very well done on making them look equal on both sides of the face. That is an accomplishment i have yet to achieve. xD
