Dark link is dressed exactly like link but in black and has gray skin. Shadow Link is more of as it says "Shadow" slightly transparent but fully black. shadow link is in OoT. shadow link is a conjuration by Ganondorf. dark link is basicly an alter ego.

yet I've never heard of dark or shadow link... I stopped playing zelda and SSB after my N64 broke, and I've never considered renting any for gamecube... which is what I have now >.>

Shadow/Dark Link is in "The legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of time" (nintendo 64) He's just a middle boss in the water temple.... But I think he's also in "Four swords Aventure" on Game Boy (but I've played once...)
