i totally agree w/ the whole natural beauty thing. its sad how a lot of girls think they have to look like the models they show in magazines and tv shows in order to be beautiful, girls like that should know that you don't have to look like a model to be beautiful, because wanting to look like someone else because they think they're beautiful, well, i don't think thats real beauty. if that makes any sense

All so true. Beauty today is so distorted and just fake. I hate how society pressures younger and younger girls to 'be perfect' but being skinny as hell and wearing tons of friggen makeup. True beauty is natural beauty. And this is what we're being told---->[link]

I think the worst thing is when mothers enter daughters into pageants. The worst one was when this lil girl's mother (She must've been 3-4) makes her go and get spray tanned and the lil girl HATES it. And she says, "My mommy doesn't like me being white." I was so freakin' ticked off because it was obvious that this little girl was hurting bad and the mom didn't give two shats on a brick about what her daughter wanted.

It's sad, but true. I've even seen a dog show kind of thing where a mother is making her 10 year old son show dogs and she gets so p*ssed every time he doesn't win or when he is not "perfect". And he cried while saying, "I just want to be a normal kid!" It's horrible!

.......FINALLY!!! I'm sick of how society views skinny, blonde, "perfect" women as queens! I'm a little on the heavy side, but I work out! I go through *shudders* vigourus dance training..... I may have a few skin problems, but I'm working though those; I'M ONLY 14!!! Why does society insist on focing us to be skinny and blonde from the start?! Can't they see they're destroying precious minds that could be learning valuble things; but, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, they INSIST on forcing make-up and skimpy, s****ly things on 5 YEAR OLD GIRLS!

Absolutely, it's sad on how people don't realize that. Ugh. Having a good appearance is one thing (like clothing) but your facial features and body are what you are naturally - it makes you who you are. Of course I dated dudes that never liked my natural beauty. xD

Of course your face is who you are! You can't change it, for it is just the cover to your awesome personality. And you can never judge a book by it's cover. I hope that you do find an awesome guy who will love you for face, personality, and love for turtles and japanese tea =3
