It could be that you help people with art, paint and story related mini games and fight these robotic baddies who want to make everything violent and anti-artistic, so YOU can customize your character and their "Studio" home to create weapons (paint vrushes, writing utensils, even ridiculous stuff like umbrellas etc) to fight the evil robots, and gain cool rewards to customize your character and studio and save the city!

Of course...that's just my take from looking at the piece...
