I think people who never read one of the books might like it, but too much has been changed for it to be a John Carter of Mars film, I've got it on DVD...don't plan on watching it much.

Too bad this costume will most likely not be the one Dejah Thoris will actually be wearing in the film since it's Disney. Actually, it would be even SKIMPIER to the point of near non-existence, if they were to be COMPLETELY accurate to the original book.

The Humanish Martians in the books, were born from eggs. They don't have belly buttons for that reason.

A picture of colour and beauty. Good textures and lighting too.

Again, a big difference viewing it on the desktop monitor, compared to my laptop screen. It is a lot brighter on the bigger screen. I did want the image to have some darkness to it. I'm assuming Mars is a little darker, compared to Earth! I was tempted to go with redder skin but I love the texture on this model.
