Yeah, sometimes the larger pictures don't want to open up properly. Actually every time I make a submission, I open the deviation page and I don't see the image until I click the download button to make the image appear larger on my screen, then I usually can see the image anytime I go back to it.
Hopefully you got it to work. The other option I have for the future then is to post smaller images. That sucks! LOL

Yeah, I tried going to the image and it is blank to begin with. So, I click on the + icon and it makes the image larger and it appears. I guess it is the fact that I make the pictures so large? But then, I've come across images posted by others that are much larger actually and haven't had issues with them. Maybe DA hates me? LOL

Now I get the gray too and can see it when I tell firefox to make it bigger. Given that I couldn't see it at all before, this is an improvement.

Don't know the background of the character, but I love this pic so much. The innocence of the schoolgirl type outfit, the pose and the shoes with the leg warmers (not sure if that's exactly what they are) all give quite a lovely picture ... and then there is the sword in hand which really says that something isn't right here

Thank you! I created the character based on various movie characters, nothing really specific in mind otherwise. There is something to the theme of the innocent young lady who just happens to have a dangerous weapon in hand, and, one would suspect, the skill to use it!

So agree about the innocent lady with dangerous weapon ... even not having the skill it would give great cause to wonder
