Description
MOAR 40K FOREVER.Yep, here's my newest commission, this time featuring a homebrewed chapter from one of my lovely clients.
As you can hopefully tell, this terminator is one serious bad ass and stands above a tide of filthy chaotic tentacles emanating from a warp gate. You might also notice the enormous double aquila ship circling the battle below.... cool points to whoever knows what this ship refers to.
In addition to this monochrome, a colored version will be ultimately completed (accompanied by some more tutorial videos).

The double aquila ship is likely a starship, as its structure does not appear to be suited for atmosperic flight. To appear that big from the surface... gigantic. Only ship I know of, that would match that description, is the ancient mobile star fortress the Fire Hawks chapter took with them when they vanished.
The Legion of the Damned is reported to have used a derelict-looking ship of this description above the cemetery world of Certus Minor. It destroyed the Keeler comet and the remains of the Cholercaust armada in orbit while the Legion butchered the Cholercaust on the surface.
The ship above Certus Minor shot the comet with giant torpedo. The description of its launch matches that launch tube between the aquila heads.

oh and the ship reminds me of a german bi-plane crossed with an X wing fighter and an imperial navy aquila lander

What is that great eagle in the sky? A Starship? (above the left shoulder of the Emporer Shield Space Marine)
Love it.Captures the grim dark future of wh40k and gives the space marine a touch of untouchableness.

Emperor Shields as he said
Some guy thought of making an army of a successor chapter for the Dark Angels and created the Emperor Shields who are basically the equivalent of a Death Wing army
They are all defence so lots of Storm Shields and of course only Terminator armour

Don't know every little nuance of 40k yet, but he outlet Aquila is the emperors symbol...so oed it represent the ever watchful emperor?
And awesome work by the way. Love the tartaros pattern armor.
