I little bit ago I got a little obsessed with the idea of modifying all sorts of sea creatures for flight. This sprung out of conceptart.orgs' weekly character prompt "Sky Fishermen" which I never got around to completing, but got me really excited. Just a peek into some of the stuff going on in my sketchbook, really. Enjoy!Related content

if you dont mind me asking, was this done in pen or pencil. im guessing either way it was cleaned up on something like ps. your lines are absolutely beautiful though.

It was done in ballpoint pen orignally, then (you're right) cleaned up a very little bit in Photoshop.

This remembers me Love-hina (a manga I used to read years ago ) where the turtles are able to fly.
