I just could never bring myself to liking the film adaptation of Benjamin Mee's book, We Bought a Zoo, as I find it too formulaic and overdramatic in some parts. I agree on how Roger Ebert described the film, "Too much formula and not enough human interest."

However, I do give credit to the actors, such as Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church, Elle Fanning, etc., and I think that the acting was done very well, but I still find the film too formulaic and overdramatic.

If you disagree, that's perfectly understand. But no rude comments please.
