To celebrate the release of TES V: Skyrim special edition I did this of my Alduin statue I got off eBay back in 2012, I am in Skyrim heaven right now thanks to nostalgia and mods (love that feeling when you return to a game after so long and it feels like you're playing anew), also not to mention I met Mr. Paarthurnax himself: er, I mean Charles Martinet! who of course also voices the plucky Italian Plumber of Super Mario! I was so honoured he would come to my home City even better than when the voices of Ash Ketchum and Vegeta, Veronica Taylor and Chris Sabat, came to the first Sunnycon.

Shot on Canon EOS 7D w/17-85mm USM lens on tripod and remote trigger. I shot the wall seperate that the Alduin statue sits on to make the background and from there refined the images in Canon Photo Pro 4, then CameraRAW in Adobe Photoshope Elements 6, then came the tiring effort of selecting around Alduin to copy onto the background (I'm sure there might be a better way so do tell x_x).

From there I applied a warm art filter and used a "cutout" artistic impression on the background (as you can see in my other recent images) and a light effect to give the impression of a fire torch in a cave, where the World Eater himself Alduin lies!
