I did this as an excuse to design a bug person lifecycle because I always loved speculative bio and I can't keep it out of even fantasy stuff.Ocha went through a lot of changes as she grew up, and then a pretty major change after she already came of age - she ripped off her own wings to get away from her grandmother.
