Here's a site I use to check out from time to time...you know I'm 49 and have done some looking into the cases over the years and have not just went on a whim.[link] I think you'll find this site pretty interesting if you have not already been to it

Poor, poor Walter......
It is very unlikely he was Jacky, and Paty's book is a very poor thing to look at for Ripper research, she doesn't even get her facts right, including his sexual life (the man was like Pablo Picasso, he could get ANY women, and banged many of them), he was also in France at the time.
I highly suggest reading The Mammoth Book Of Jack The Ripper, and Jack The Ripper A-Z. Also, going to the website Casebook.

I'm sorry to sound like I am being rude, but....
poor Walter......please, please do some research and don't listen to ONE research, or author like Crumbum.

Other then that, you draw Water very well.

she has DNA evidence.

Hmmm, not really. Not the right DNA anyway. The one she is using is one that anyone can have.
Again, please do more research and don't go by the Crumbum way of thinking.
Jack The Ripper A-Z is very good. Also, Walter Sickert: A Life (his bio) is a good read.
The only proof she has so far is that he perhaps, maybe wrote some fake letters, which was very popular at the time.

Interesting...both the special and book say different...and if the Yard were on it's toes he would have been a suspect from the start.Right now I have mostly time-lines from the victims.
Most folks I know keep hoping Jack the Ripper will stay a mystery..

Walter is still a pretty good suspect--for some reason though, Joseph Barnett is still number one, runo oono on my radar.
However.....if we can get prof that Walter was Jack, in a way---that would be awesome. I mean, when you think about it....a dude who paints a picture of a dead chick, and then, the same chick is dead.....creepy, yet, whoa, duuuuuuuuuude!

From what I get from the Jest of it all... it was DNA..that forensic gal who writes.umm Patricia Cornwell.." Jack the Ripper case Closed. "
Now I know exactly what you mean...it's like a Classic Monster movie..no one should know the identity of the phantom..but from what I read ,and if it is all based on fax..I believe her findings stand.
But hey! you liked my art?

Sickert is a possibility, but, other suspects with more realistic motives have to be considered... I myself do not think Sickert was the Ripper... I read Cornwell's book and it was biased and had poor historical fact. She stated that Walter had no children, yet, birth records survive to say he did. Also, she left out information that she found harmful to the case, such as hs fistula's actual deformity and his whereabouts on certain dates. She also did not exactly give perfect explanation to things like the card paper and the victims after the canonical 5... She lied and added unneeded, unconnected information to the book to make it sell and make people convinced she was right. I doubt her 100+ year DNA analysis even took place.
You should read something else on the subject, other than Cornwell's book alone. [though she is a tolerable author]

Thats very interesting Cody.
I do have several files on The Ripper, and all the Murdered victims. From the News program I watched an reading her book I thought she was quite thorough...I shall have to go over the Case again when I get to Nick Dean Issue #3
Thanks again there

I totally forgot my name was even in my profile... Don't do that to me! Whoa.
She was very good, but, I disliked her tone through the narrative and thought she should have presented more evidence, or, at least, given all true facts about Sickert.
I recently did Cornwell's novel for a book report, so, the information and my opinions are fresh in my mind, that's all.
But my point in posting, which I suppose seems obliterated now, was how good the actual artwork you did was.

Always think that Jack would wear a top hat ,I guess thats the sterotype of him ..perhaps that's why he was never caught , nice drawing I can always imagine you doing House of Hammer comics (like they had over here in uk in 70's)heres a [link] about it

I need a book on the subject, for reference. I know one of the suspects died here in 1981. I forget his name, but I beleave he was an actor. He was the last patient in this private hospital. Soon as he died, they sold it, and it is gone now. I guess that is history best forgotten.

She's a Forensic expert...among other things.she writes real crime. With the tech we have now,and history behind the character ( Artist ) she nailed the Bloke
I believe The Ripper Died in 1942

You mentioned that, and I think I saw her on the Discovery Channel. Guess I like the Royal Conspiracy because the man that said i was force to retract it, then ended up dead immediately afterwards. His family destroyed all the note he had which would have either prove him right, or a crackpot. The thing for me is when some one feels they are above suspicion, that is when they are likely to do some thing. Just me.
