Not my best one, but I used a couple of new methods for the background.Norb, Dag, and Nick swimming in the pond and discovering the underwater life.
Well, at least me and Norbert are doing that, Dag is busy chasing a clown fish. Classic Dag. :,DKeep the mistakes if you find some. LOL.

I actually have an animation software on my computer, still figuring out how I can use it properly, since I don't have that much experience in animating.

I see. I don't have any experience in animation either. I've tried like you have but couldn't figure out how to use it. Turns out I'm just bad with technology.
By the way, I saw your YouTube video of you drawing this. It's interesting to see you start of with a sketch on paper and then trace all the lineart. Makes sense why this drawing is so well done.

That's how I do most of my digital artwork, I just found out about the tracing tools about like a month ago. Before that, my lineart was... let's say worse than it's now. It was pretty ugly compared to now.
When I sketch stuff purely with my tablet, without a template or a paper sketch behind, it turns out much worse
