Description
Two part story, this is the front cover shot for the Headlines' single 'Takeover'. Some kind of contract killer, what are the relationships between the three characters portrayed all designed for ambiguity's sake. Took my inspiration from Storm Thorgersen's work hence the wide angle lens: in this shot we are at 12mm. I had to make sure however converging lines remained so. The idea for the slightly off centre vertical split came in post production to portray themes of power struggle, if you look at the back cover here: [link] the character in the foreground has slightly more than half the frame whereas in this shot the foreground character has slightly less. The split however remains at exactly the same ratio when flipped.Fact: The print hanging on the wall was used in an Andy Warhol film.
