Description
I finished this cake which I made for the heck of it, besides it was my neighbors birthday the day before I finished it. Also it was my parents 24th wedding anniversary the day I actually did finish it as well as our 15 year anniversary of living in New York.

Chocolate with chocolate frosting inside because my raspberry filling went bad... Oh well. This was the first time I made the chocolate frosting which I felt was pretty good. Finished off with vanilla frosting outside. I'm fairly happy with how this cake came out. Still not dingy about the roses on top as the edges tear with the home frosting. Maybe I'll just use the Wilton icing in the future exclusively for roses...

The other flowers are actually ones I made a day earlier out of royal icing. I'm quite happy with how this royal icing recipe turned out. And they taste better than I thought they would. You really don't want to eat royal icing though...
